Ideal Care had been visiting my mother for the last 2 years, although it was a bit of a challenge for the carers to begin with, as my mother had been fiercely independent and was not really engaging with the help provided, things did settle down, and mum got into the groove, as much as she would allow! Throughout, we were in regular contact with the office, who were very supportive and understanding with my sometimes endless requests (sorry), and on a number of occasions we would bump into the carers who were very kind and patient with my mother. We had the most contact with one carer, who was lovely, and always brought a smile to my mum's face, and on behalf of our family would like to thank all the lovely staff at Ideal Care for all their help provided.

We wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you and your team for the exceptional care provided to my dad during his illness. Your professionalism, kindness, and dedication gave our family peace of mind during a challenging time. We are truly grateful for the support you offered, and for the compassionate way you treated our dad. Your team made a significant difference, and we will always be thankful for your help. Nothing was ever too much trouble and you all went above and beyond to help us. Your management team was always on hand to talk to and made things so easy for us all. We appreciate you all so much!

Excellent care from start to finish over a period of 4 months for my terminally ill mum, very professional, compassionate and caring team. I'd like to thank three particular members of staff specifically who showed such patience and commitment to make sure my mum's final months were as comfortable as possible, and another staff member who was such a professional. I'd recommend this company.

Ideal Care Services took over the care visits for my mother who had Alzheimer's and was end of life. The carers were very compassionate and kind. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this service and wish they had been with us from the beginning.

Congratulations to the management for their carefully selected staff all of their team of carers, with no exception, are varying characters charming and delightful. It is a pleasure to welcome them into our house making a difficult situation more bearable. All of his carers are diligent with their duties carrying them out cheerfully and respectfully. My husband feels safe in their hands and his spirit lifts in the team's company, and that pleases me.

Ideal Care Services have been coming in and caring for my elderly mother, who has been totally bed-bound for the last year or so. They have a duo, mostly well known to us, who come four times a day during the week and then we have the same one-to-one carer at the weekends, still with an extra pair of hands coming four times a day too. I often refer to them all as 'angels' - they literally are. They really are all so very patient, kind, attentive and thoughtful. My mother's world turned upside down when she became bedridden, and it took a while for her to get used to them coming. She is a lot happier now, than at the start, but is by no means an easy lady, so it can sometimes be very difficult for the carers, but they manage her mood swings, and trickiness extremely well and are very professional. The managers of the team are also very accessible if I need to adjust things or pass on queries, which is brilliant. We are blessed that we all have their unwavering support wholeheartedly.

The carers have a good relationship with my mother and help her with all her needs. She is very complementary to both the girls who help her. They are both aware of her limitations mobility-wise and are very caring.

Simply put, my mother could not possibly live without the two visits she gets every single day. In addition, my brother and myself have the greatest respect for the ladies who take care of her. Having met them on various occasions, we know our mother is in good hands for sure. Given the serious physical condition of our mother, the ladies take time to understand her moods and requirements on a daily basis. What’s not to like?

Arrival times are a bit haphazard, otherwise very happy with overall service. Carers are very considerate to my wife and very willing to help with any task. We would be very happy to recommend this service.

We basically had a good experience with Ideal Care Services who took care of our elderly father. The carers generally performed the tasks that they were expected to do, and that we'd asked them to do. We found that the standard of care was variable depending upon the individual carers. Some of them were outstanding - diligent, kind, gentle and thoughtful, making sure to do as much as possible for our father during the space of their visits. On the other hand, there were others who seemed less engaged and who carried out their tasks in a more perfunctory manner. We found the management to be friendly, conscientious and responsive to our needs, and importantly they were usually always available to answer the phone when we called them. If we did express any concerns about anything they immediately jumped on the case and made sure to resolve any potential issues. Overall I would recommend Ideal Care Services.

As a fearlessly independent person, it comes as a shock to have to let in help. It’s not easy but the teams of caregivers have been so generous and gentle with their kindness and professionalism building up a wonderful rapport with some. My father actually looks forward to hearing what’s going on in the outside world from fresh faces learning about new places, cuisines and the like and in turn imparting his knowledge and sometimes finding a common interest. Last night it was a poem from Wordsworth, both had remembered from school days - 60+ years apart - daffodils the topic but normally sports is a hit. I can’t thank the teams enough, not only have they helped my dad but they have allowed me to be the daughter again.

Carers treated my husband with dignity and kindness. Engaged in conversation, very friendly and always arrived within the allotted time given. One gentleman was an extremely pleasant person, who my husband really liked.

Wonderful care from the carers. They all appeared on time and looked after our son with care and dignity. They also supported my husband and I through this difficult time. Well done to Ideal Care.

Mum suffered a major stroke a year ago. The event has left her wheelchair-bound and unable to speak. Mum, therefore, relies heavily on her carers for her daily routines. Time and time again, Ideal Care Services have gone beyond their required duties to help Mum and to reassure me and my brother that she’s in safe hands and being well looked after. The service is friendly and professional, from the visiting carers to the managers. I would recommend them.

How this company operates beggars belief. Couldn't find the house on the first day, my mother lives in a cul-de-sac! I get a phone call to say no one was answering the door (my mother is disabled) but it wasn't my mother's door they were knocking on. I called my mother and they had been out to her twice that day. So when I called the manager back her phone was constantly engaged and I left a voicemail and text message asking what the hell is going on. It turns out they got clients mixed up. No visit that evening. No one turned up that evening. No one came between 9 am - 9:30 am the next morning, so my mother was left from 1 pm the day before. When I called the manager said they were almost there. They arrived at 10 am. No ID, no paper work didn't know what my mother's needs or requirements were. By this time my sister had arrived and done what they were being paid to do. The next visit was 1 pm, they arrived didn't give my mother her medication, didn't empty the commode, were here for 12 minutes.

I’ve had an absolutely fantastic experience with the carers at Ideal. The manager has been an exceptionally empathetic, kind, flexible and understanding manager, and the carers have been brilliant not just with their expertise in handling my father’s stoma care and personal hygiene but as compassionate partners in his care. I wholeheartedly recommend this team.

I would recommend Ideal Care Services unreservedly and enthusiastically to anyone looking for care for themselves or a loved one. I have been in receipt of care from various agencies for over a decade and Ideal Care outstrips them all. I am a wheelchair user and receive support to wash and dress They truly understand what Care and support really mean and for the time they are with me, I feel like the only client they have; never just a name on a list or a person from whom they need to rush because the clock ticking. This is all the more remarkable because I know they are busy, yet it never affects the care they give. Caring for me well clearly matters to them and I feel not only cared for, but I know that they care about me, too which makes all the difference. If you or anyone you know need care support, try Ideal Care; you won't regret it

A very friendly, professional service who keep in regular contact with us about my Mother-in-laws needs and requirements. The staff go above and beyond and have built my Mother-in-laws confidence back up after her fall to the point where they felt that the care programme could be cut down. They gave us peace of mind and delivered the personal touch as well.

The care my grandparents received from their live-in carer (and the manager) was excellent and we all felt safe that they were being looked after well. Organising the care prior to it starting was straightforward and the manager was very helpful, as we had never done this before.

The care my parents received from the live-in carer and her supervisor was very caring, compassionate and professional. They communicated with the family well and treated my parents with dignity. Nothing was too much trouble. It was difficult for my parents to accept that they needed live-in help but the team made the transition as easy as possible for them. They were friendly and welcoming to family and friends when they called to visit the parents. I honestly can't say if the care is value for money as I have nothing to compare with.
