Very good
My mum is really happy with the carers. She regularly talks about them so I know she is happy. They provide a very professional service and I feel that Mum is in safe hands. Thank you for all you do for her - enabling me to stay in work full time.
Excellent service and punctuality from all staff, good care with no problems. Fair value for money these days, I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future if I am unfortunate enough to need more care.
Very pleased with the carer's 30 mins of help.
I've experienced the services of the team for two years, and at all times have received excellent service. Resident carers have cared for my wife with attention to her needs at all times. In all cases, a 'Mother to daughter' life of care has been established.
Overall, very pleased with the care given to my Auntie. I must say that sometimes the carers seem to be in a hurry to leave. But as I've already said we are pleased with the service provided.
I have always felt happy with all the carers who come to help, wash, dress, etc my husband and know life would be difficult without their assistance.
Throughout my care with Cedar Oak, I have been treated with kindness, compassion, efficiency, and where appropriate gentle humour which I found cheering and enjoyed. I was always treated with respect and my dignity was always maintained. My carers were always kind, helpful, and supportive of my wife and family. They were always positive and encouraging and played an important role in my ongoing recovery. The administration team was helpful and efficient and offered great support whenever necessary.
We have been receiving care support in our family home for our daughter, who has complex and profound learning disabilities. Support started in November 2023 and we continue to be supported to this day. We have been incredibly impressed by the overall service we have received. From the initial meeting with management to discuss our daughter's needs to matching carefully chosen carers, of a similar age to our daughter, to support her. Cedar Oak has provided us with continuity of a reliable team of well-motivated, trained carers who are all very caring, professional, and respectful when working long hours in our family home. We are also pleased to receive regular positive feedback from the day centre our daughter attends about how well she is cared for. Each carer has forged a bond with our daughter and we feel our team has become part of our family. We are very grateful to Cedar Oak for making our lives so much easier.
I would recommend this care company. The staff are cheerful, obliging and professional. They are reliable and do not let you down. For example, there was a muddle due to a hospital appointment and my carer phoned me in her downtime from her home at 9:45 PM to check I was ok. They are also very safety cautious and are obviously well trained in the correct handling methods for elderly and disabled customers. The office is well located in the centre of Reigate.
The ladies that come to care for my husband are the nicest people with him - kind, gentle, and make him feel at ease. If I had the money I would gladly pay for your service.
Service is for bed-bound patients needing washing and inco pad change. Have used the service since summer 2022. Friendly and reliable, professional, and enables a stable routine 7 days a week. The staff is reliable and friendly and communicates regarding visit times.
My experience has been outstanding. I am so pleased with all the carers and the care they give.
Cedar Oak provides an essential service for me as I am unable to walk without assistance. The care team that has provided the service is very understanding of my situation, responds accordingly, and is very attentive towards safety. I would be in serious difficulty without their professional aid.
Our experience of Cedar Oak has been exemplary in every aspect. Every carer who has looked after my husband has shown commitment and compassion in all aspects of his care from dispensing a complex medication programme to intimate personal care. They have respected my husband's dignity at all times and shown us both kindness, encouragement and reassurance through a very anxious time following discharge from three months of severe illness in hospital. We are both very grateful for their care and kindness. Similarly, we have experienced very real support from the administrative team throughout our relationship.
We currently have care for 4 hours per week. 2 hours on Thursdays and 2 hours on Fridays. Although we have had about six different people since we started about 2 months ago, things have settled down to the same two or three ladies now. Initially, the carers would often phone up saying they would be half and hour late. Although that didn't matter too much, it made planning my appointments difficult on some occasions. Recently however this seems to have stopped happening and the carers run to time. On the positive side, I needed to request a carer to come 15 minutes early last week to enable me to go for a doctor's appointment and the carer arrived in good time. The carers are all very pleasant and seem to genuinely enjoy their job.
Great carers and service, excellent assistance and very helpful live-in care and break carers at home, able to work in a variety of situations. Always willing to go the extra mile and will help in any way possible. Good communications, highly recommended.
Mum has Vascular Dementia and lives independently. When we received the diagnosis I thought the world was going to cave in on me and all I could think was 'care home'. I didn't understand Dementia and I thought that right away she would need to be in a home - how wrong was I! I was recommended by our Social Care team to organise 'carers' to assist Mum in the early stages of her diagnosis. Initially, they came in the mornings and evenings. I was paired with Cedar Oak and initially, I was a little unsure - my own insecurities I might add. We could not be happier with the care and attention that Cedar Oak afforded to my mum. They are now part of the family and I can rely on them 100%. Their communication is second to none and I never have to worry about Mum. Mum has 4 visits per day which is working well for her and for me. I can continue with my busy life knowing Mum is in safe hands.
Needed to ask the care team to carry out some additional duties at short notice. The team accommodated this and quickly helped with an issue that arose while I was away. I felt happy in the knowledge that my daughter would be well cared for while I was on my much-needed holiday.
