Very flexible company. All of staff have been very accommodating and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Very punctual and efficient. Would definitely recommend this company to anybody looking for help around the home.
My mother had a stroke back in May this year, the support she’s had from home care has been amazing and caring. The staff are really good at their job and would recommend them 100 percent, the team have looked after my mum since May and it is still ongoing. We wouldn’t know what to do without their care and support, my mum feels safe and cared for by the team.
Ever since Dad had a stroke in 2021 the Caremark Dover team have been outstanding! The care visits have adapted around the needs of Dad and Mum over the last two years. The team is always helpful, friendly and supportive. When things have changed, such as now with Dad needing frailty care, they have adjusted the care to support them both at short notice. Living in New Zealand and caring for elderly parents isn't easy. With the Caremark Dover team they have gone out of their way to be helpful and so good at letting us know if there is a concern. Since the frailty assessment two weeks ago, they've overnight stepped up to three visits with two carers a day to support Dad, who can't walk at the moment. Came from a meeting today, mapping out scenario's and how we work together for the best outcomes - so helpful in giving peace of mind. You know when the carers are good, as they have little jokes with Dad and there are often giggles and laughs, even when it's been a tough day for him.
Following my wife's 34 week stay in hospital after breaking her ankle, her initial homecare was provided on behalf of the NHS. Subsequently, her care was passed to Caremark (Dover) and I have been immensely impressed by the service they offer. Particularly in respect of her current inability to mobilise and requiring hoist transfer to her chair. As a former senior nurse manager, I tend to expect high standards, and we have received them. More recently, I was required to be away for a week, leaving my wife at home with just the carers coming in, leaving me with a great deal of anxiety. Caremark really stepped up in their planning and response that left my wife really at ease with the situation and everything dealt with in a caring and professional manner.
My family and I have nothing but praise for the whole team at Caremark (Dover). From our very first request for them to come and assess my elderly father (on the same day I had been let down by another agency), they were efficient, knowledgeable and personable. Fortunately for us, Caremark was able to start caring for my father immediately, and we had confidence in their ability and reliability. Each carer was kind, diligent and treated my father with dignity. He felt comfortable and happy with the care he received. There was often much humour, even in trying circumstances, and we will always be grateful for the steadfast and sympathetic way my father was treated. Thank you again to the team at Caremark (Dover).
From the initial phone call to Caremark to helping prepare my father's transition to his nursing home 3 months later, I have nothing but positive praise for everyone at Caremark Dover. Their name strikes me as being spot on, they care, and their service is right on the mark. I recommend reviewing all their website resources, it's a treasure of useful info. The carers were highly trained and guided us through Dad's 'journey'. Family conversations were always honest and collaborative. Caremark invests in their team, providing direct feedback and taking immediate action whenever needed. The app with carer notes after each visit was also great and it was always a comfort to talk to Dad, hear his 'report on the day' and knowing the care notes on the app said the same thing. My Father kept saying how much of a difference his carers made, their kindness, experience, support and also humour that brightened his day. Having met his Caremark team, I feel the same way, thank you Caremark!
Professional, reliable, excellent, friendly, efficient, caring, teamwork. Or put it another way, perfect. Nothing has been too much trouble for the whole team whilst they care for my dad. The visits were all arranged at very short notice and have made Mum and Dad's lives that big bit easier and they know that there will always be someone there to support them.
Words cannot adequately express how delighted, relieved and grateful the whole family is for the care provided to my dad. At incredibly short notice the team pulled out all the stops to put care in place to allow him to get home from hospital. The visits are professional, warm and caring, nothing is too much trouble. Communication to and from the office/administration team is just first-class. We all have total confidence in the team.
Caremark (Dover) have been providing support to my father-in-law for the last few months. Recently his health has deteriorated and Caremark have given him a lot of extra care at very short notice. The super carers are doing everything they can to help him. We have also really appreciated the excellent communication between staff and our family.
Dealing with a family member who has Alzheimer's, which began about four years ago, has been utterly devasting for all, not least my parent who was a lively, active person before this dreadful disease took away memories and quality of life. We have been lost really, learning about the disease and what care there is. The team who stepped in to help were amazing, really supportive, friendly, caring, and experienced. They were simply just very lovely, kind and nice people who knew exactly how to manage our lovely parent with dignity and professional care. It felt like a weight was lifted because they are so attentive and really on the ball with exactly what is needed, liaising with the family doctor and providing lists of things to buy. They spent time getting to know our parent's story so that when they were visiting they could engage in conversations which makes such a huge difference. The app used for inputting notes after the visit has been so helpful and reassuring too!
The app is brilliant, I have peace of mind knowing how Mum is doing at each visit. Lovely staff and excellent level of care. Mum's needs are met with care and dignity. I can't thank the staff enough.
The ladies that came to look after my partner were extremely kind and connected really well. I wish I could afford to have them every day. They respected the rules for Covid very well and were on time. I did like the fact that they weren't on their phones all the time like some carers I've used in the past.
