View Full Details of Angelus HomecareThank you so much for the care you provide for my mum. Even when she was admitted to hospital her carers went out of their way to visit her. Mum looks forward to seeing her carers every day. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Highly recommend.
Angelus was providing care through the various stages of our mum's dementia. The majority of carers (not all) weren’t experienced in dealing with dementia patients and what is needed. Lack of training and understanding of what is agreed in a care plan and will decide themselves what is the best for your relative and not what is actually agreed. Unprofessional/aggressive communication skills from management. Boundaries crossed i.e. not doctors/social services. If you offer advice or show you care too much you may get put on safeguarding when they have double standards and is okay to see an elderly lady left un-washed or even forget to visit to give food/medication. If you do end up using them, you will need to keep an eye on the care given to make sure your loved one is receiving everything they need and treated with respect and not as just another client. (I suggest you put ring cameras in, as one of the carers was reading our mum's private document). I would not recommend this company.
My only regret is not finding this incredible company sooner. They deserve more than five stars for their whole package. The manager was so helpful to both me and my 104-year-old mother. The staff that visited were all very professional and offered tips to make life for us easier. When my mother passed away, the two carers that were on duty treated her with the utmost dignity and respect. I came to look upon them as friends popping in to help. The carers have seen me clearing out my mother's flat and always check to see how I am coping. God bless every one of them.
We are very grateful that Angelus Homecare stepped in at such short notice to ensure that daily care has continued for my husband. My initial telephone contact with the Manager was just so supportive that I felt we were already in good hands. The carers we have met so far are all very friendly, respectful and adaptable, and also willing to learn new procedures specific to a particular client's needs which has been very reassuring.
I have the same carers which is brilliant. My carers really understand my needs and they listen to me. My skin integrity has improved massively, I’ve had no blister out breaks. My pets and family love the carers and they know that I’m in safe hands. My carers are kind, caring, compassionate and are always willing to go the extra mile to help.
My experience with you has been great, your girl and boys have been wonderful, helpful, and are willing to do many jobs for me, posting letters and going to the shop if needed. They are cheerful and always make me smile. Thank you for your help.
Overall my experience with my carers is quite satisfactory but I feel they could be more thorough with their tasks, and not rush through their duties. Also, it would be nice to have a regular and more consistent weekly rota with consistent arrival times although I realise it must be difficult with illness and various other difficulties.
Really good staff with lots of knowledge, very friendly and easy to talk to and very helpful.
My nana, was diagnosed with cancer and when my granddad couldn't manage any more we found Kare Plus. They were amazing, they looked after my nana like she was a member of their family. Nothing was too much trouble, they never rushed and they always made sure my nana had everything she needed and they would even sit with my grandad and listen to him and they would make him a cup of tea or a sandwich. Towards the end, my grandad said he couldn't have coped without their friendly ways. They were always professional and always managed to make my grandparents smile. When my nana passed away, they offered their condolences and sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers. My grandad has already said that if the time comes when he needs help, he wants Kare Plus to look after him.
My grandmother was supplied carers from Kare Plus and I could not recommend them enough. They are always willing, and always had a can-do attitude and approach. My gran was always a little challenging but they would never bat an eyelid. The staff supplied were always genuine, caring and so so friendly with everyone around my gran. I knew she would have loved to still have them with her. They made her day.
Kare Plus were so lovely when they looked after my Nana, she loved their visits and they were always friendly to me too whenever I was visiting her. The care they gave my Nana was fantastic. She was having end of life care and right till the end they were there to support her and nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone that needs care or help at home. Thank you Kare Plus.
