Givecare Tamworth are the best care firm I have used in the last 13 years. The manager always has time to listen, and the firm is very friendly and flexible. The carers are kind and treat me with dignity.

This company supports both of my parents, for very differing care and medical needs. As a nurse, I am very aware of the standards expected in providing good quality and compassionate care. This company have exceeded my expectations. The staff are professional, polite and have built a great rapport with the entire family. They deliver care with respect and value on my parents' wishes as well as needs, enabling them to still feel in control of their lives. Furthermore, this ethos is shown throughout the company with the management team offering flexibility, kindness and consideration when offering support. They have a regular team and the consistency has been a great enabler in my parents accepting help.

Mum had to accept care and she didn't want to. Luckily she met the manager and she gave a list of what she wanted and what she didn't. The manager listened and put her with the top matches. She loved the fact she was listened to and not forced into care. She learned that people could work with her and her needs. Everyone turns up on time and listens to her needs and have a great signposting to what may help, bringing back hobbies and what can we do for you. Almost to the point, she became independent again. Mum gets to live in her home, on her terms and that's the way she likes it. Don't most of us?

I am very happy with Givecare - Tamworth, Lichfield and Little Aston and their service. Carer lets me stay independent and do as much as I can, assists when I need it - very pleasant and polite and will have Givecare until I don't need them. Help me when I go away, making sure my calls are cancelled and put back in place. Carers and office staff are always there for me.

Happy with Givecare, get on well with all carers and office staff. Would not go anywhere else other than Givecare. All carers treat me with dignity and respect and are polite.

The home care is satisfactory but some carers' ability to understand the system i.e. soiled pads are not always put in the correct bin (red) but mixed with general waste (black bin). Cakes and buns are not put into available containers to keep them fresh but are left to go stale.

All the staff at Givecare - Tamworth and Burton on Trent were very professional and friendly and we cannot thank them enough for the care they gave to my father. They treated him with kindness and respect at all times.

Our main carer is excellent. He is always prompt and very good with the client. He always discusses with me anything he is not happy with.

Excellent service. Although the review only allows you to select one particular month to base the review on, we have actually utilised the services of Givecare for a few years now for Mum who has dementia. Both the manager here in Tamworth and the carers themselves are wonderful people and all involved support Mum very well indeed, in a multitude of ways, and far more than the space allowed here will allow me type. A lot of the carers have been with the company a while now and this continuity for a dementia client is so very important. Some of the carers go over and above with their support and kindness and the manager is nothing less than wonderful to deal with. They've never let me or Mum down once and have never declined to support in any way. Givecare are a caring and reliable organisation you can count on and trust to support you and/or your loved one in times of need. Do not hesitate to use this fantastic organisation.

Excellent service and care. They've changed my life around; I was struggling with self-care and neglect. Now I'm up, clean, medication taken and had a drink and food. I can't fault the service.

Givecare are the best agency I have had for my personal care. The girls are very caring, loving and friendly. They really look after me. They help me shower. They help me give my medication. They cream my legs, back and my feet. They also help me make a drink; hot drinks and cold drinks. The day I am not showering they will help me wash. They are really nice.

Givecare are hands down the best care company that my wife and I have ever known and we have experience of quite a few over the years. The staff treats you with dignity and respect and it has helped me to accept the help which I needed but didn't feel ready to accept.

All the staff who came to help me look after my hubby in my opinion were excellent. There were a couple of dodgy ones early on, but the manager soon sorted them out and they were gone. They just lacked the attitude to do the job properly. However, we had a very good team full of empathy and help. All of the changed their shifts or came on days off to come to his funeral. They all stood on my decking and clapped as the hurts left. Something I will never forget. They are very caring members of staff. That was back in June last year, and I am still in touch with two of them. They treated my hubby with kindness and respect, something some care companies don't teach. You are a carer from an early age; it just capturing the right ones and the manager to do that very well. I would definitely recommend Givecare to any and everyone I know; they are brilliant.

Very nervous about a stranger helping with certain cleanliness which not able to do myself but there was no need. I have carers to help with cleanliness from Givecare and other things I'm not able to do. I've met a lot of the carers, can't fault them. Get to know you and it's as if you have known them all your life. You will never find a better company other than Givecare.
