View Full Details of Your CareI can't speak highly enough of the care your team provided for my wife during the last weeks of her life. Their skill and professionalism were matched by their love and kindness, both towards my wife and towards myself and our children. It is really thanks to them that an awful situation was made so much more bearable, and we are hugely grateful to them. Our warmest thanks to the main three ladies and their lovely colleagues for all that they did for my wife and for the rest of our family. We will remember them with great fondness.
I’d cared for my mum at our home for nearly two years as her various conditions and frailty from old age started to take their toll. Finally, it became clear that Mum was coming to the end of her life, and I knew I would eventually need another pair of hands to help me keep her comfortable and deliver her care. The ladies from Your Care came to our rescue. My mum had never wanted to accept help, but after just one visit, she decided she liked the Your Care ladies. Over the course of 3-4 short weeks, I found the care and help given to Mum and myself faultless. After one visit, which was a particularly poignant one, Mum asked me to make sure that when she was gone, I would tell the Your Care team that they were the nicest people she had ever met. I think that’s worthy of stating here as my mum didn’t take easily to people that she didn’t know. Thank you, ladies, for all your help, kindness and gentleness of care, which was so so important to Mum given her pain and general frailty.
My mum was suffering from terminal lung cancer, and having broken her hip in a fall in August, she was desperate to return home as soon as she could. The plan was for her to stay at home as long as it was manageable, before moving her to the hospice. All of the team at Your Care were absolutely amazing. Mum wasn't always the easiest person to deal with, but she loved all of the girls who looked after her for the last month of her life, as they made her as comfortable as possible. The girls were extremely professional, treating Mum with respect and dignity in both life and death. Mum never made it to the hospice, and with the help of the Your Care team, she was able to pass away peacefully in her own home with her family. The care and support were not only there for Mum, but also for us in our hour of need, offering support and advice on caring for mum. Our heartfelt thanks go to all of the team for everything they did for Mum.
The carers that looked after my husband from October - November 2020 were angels. They were compassionate, caring, always smiling and always, without fail, asked my husband's permission to carry out duties, especially of an intimate nature. They always informed him of what they were going to do before commencing. He had two carers, four times a day and their time-keeping was exceptional. Up until his death in November 2020, they were always there for him. I cannot praise the company highly enough. He came out of hospital with bedsores and the girls always took extra care and had practically healed the areas when he was admitted back to hospital. Unfortunately, he came out of hospital with bedsores again. Thank you, Your Care.
I could not ask for anything more from the carers, who come in four times a day. They are very friendly and caring and look after my husband who has severe dementia and Alzheimer's, is incontinent and immobile. They do all they can to stop him from getting stressed, chatting and laughing with him, even though he does not respond except to smile at them.
These people are angels and the owners/manager so helpful and organised. They do whatever they can to meet the client's needs, work with the family, treat my dad as an individual, and genuinely care. They are flexible and professional in their conduct.
Carers that have come into our home have been professional, caring and kind. They have supported/are supporting me during a very difficult time. My husband wasn't keen on the idea of carers initially, months ago, but now he is used to the idea and looks forward to seeing them. I'm very grateful to them too and for the support.
I couldn't have asked for better people to care for my husband, especially at this difficult time of Covid-19 as I was entirely on my own. Professional, efficient, respectful and human.
We appreciate the attention to detail and the kindness shown to us. Nothing was too much trouble for the Manager and her team.
Carers are friendly, helpful, respectful to client and family. I would recommend their services to anyone being cared for at home.
The care my husband received from this company was excellent. I could not have asked for more. Always so kind, caring and helpful. Never rushing, always took time to speak with both of us. Always explaining what was happening. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for your support at such a difficult time.
