View Full Details of Phemacare StourbridgeMy dad has recently passed away, and had used a carer from Phemacare for over a couple of years. He had a regular carer, and I can confirm that my dad had the highest possible care from the gentleman concerned. He looked forward to his visits, and nothing was too much trouble. The carer was very professional but also had that lovely bedside manner that is so needed. He was cheery and helpful. Many are all too often prone to criticise, but I can confirm the best level of service was provided. Thanks from our family for the help that was provided.
My disabled Mom is very happy with the care she receives from Phemacare’s ladies. The ladies are very caring always and they make my Mom smile. She looks forward to seeing them every day. Thank you so much Phemacare.
I don't know how anyone can give these girls a 1 star? They work tirelessly to take care of and comfort my mom who is 92. I actually wouldn't change anything about these girls, yes you have a few little hiccups along the way, but the girls soon sort it out.
Poor quality caring, doesn't appear that the carers have had any actual training? And I can say this wholeheartedly from a professional point of view as being a career, (senior) is my profession and the client's wife's previous profession, so we can clearly see when things aren't right. The carers had no idea what a slide sheet was and how to use it? They come whenever it pleases them, not according to when has been booked for the client. They blocked drives and sit in the car for 15 -20 mins whilst only being in here for 15 mins. On a morning call, they have left the bed in a state, sheets everywhere untucked hanging off with the quilt just thrown on top to hide it. They left the commode in a horrible state after toilet use (they never cleaned it out before they left so we discovered it later), and they're rushing the client, they don't take their time with him at all and expect him to be able to toilet in 15 mins which is unreasonable. The current CQC report also isn't very promising.
