View Full Details of Caremark WarwickCaremark provided care for my husband for a number of years until his death a few weeks ago. The standard of care received throughout was excellent, however the end of life care was exemplary. A small team was designated to assist him. The caregivers were gentle, caring and sensitive. They were always respectful, always making sure that he was comfortable, without moving him unnecessarily. In addition they supported me through what was a very sad and difficult time, never rushing, always calm and ready to listen. The managers made sure that the care offered was flexible and tailored to my husband's needs, and offered additional care, eg overnight support, should this have been needed. This meant that my husband was able to die peacefully at home, as had been his wish, without the need for hospital admission, for which I shall be forever grateful. Thank you.
I have just taken on Caremark for companionship for my 91 year old mum and from the initial call and further communication with them they have been understanding, compassionate and flexible. There is excellent communication from all the team. The carer has built up a relationship quickly with mum and I am comforted to know that she is professional and caring with mum.
Caremark looked after our Dad when he just needed a shower once a week. Following a detailed initial visit, this was set up and was working well. Dad then had a fall, and was hospitalised for a number of months. When he returned to his flat, he needed four visits a day and a night-sitter. Caremark were able to provide this additional care. They were responsive to unplanned and planned changes to the care schedule. Generally, the carers arrived and left as arranged. Whenever we were present at the same time as the carer, they seemed competent and caring. Some had more interaction with Dad than others. The management were very good to deal with, and responded well and quickly to any concerns/issues/questions which we raised.
Caremark have been providing weekend care for my Mum, who has Alzheimer's for a period of 6 months, until she ultimately needed to move into a care home. I have always found the management team very supportive in trying to establish something that works for her - often a challenge, as the Alzheimer's leads her to mistrust people, and be prone to mood swings. When she didn't feel comfortable with certain carers, they resolved the issue by trying different people, and found someone who she trusted and felt comfortable with. I'd like to be clear that this was unlikely to be any wrongdoing of the original carers - but a sad feature of the disease. They happily added or removed visits with little notice, and worked well with the weekday carers I had in place to offer more social interaction and ideas. I would observe that Caremark appeared a little more geared towards physical care, rather than social interaction, which is why I maintained the two separate arrangements.
Mum went into hospital after a fall and was discharged with a care package from the NHS. The care the agency provided was truly awful. Mum had been looked after by Caremark for 18 months prior to the hospital admission and was happy and well looked after. We had to fight to return to Caremark, due to the vagaries of Warwickshire's commissioning systems (and despite the fact that they first connected us with Caremark 2 years ago!). But it was worth it! Mum is now happy and settled again. She is pleased to see familiar faces and carers who care, who go the extra mile and understand her needs. Very grateful.
We are happy with the service provided all the cares are usually punctual and finishing in good time.
I contacted Caremark in January 2024. I needed additional support in caring for my elderly mother. I didn't really know what support I needed and after a conversation with the manager and one of his supervisors, they were able to help me form a plan. They've been very accommodating. We have two different carers that visit twice a week. Both have been able to take a large weight off my shoulders. Providing the care and consideration that Mum needs. Now, after a few weeks, they just come in and crack on with whatever is needed, whether that might be helping my mum have a shower or hanging out some washing.
Caremark Warwick were in place for my mother for a couple of weeks before her recent admission into hospital and transfer to a care home. The carers were wonderful at supporting my mother, who has dementia, within daily tasks. The high level of communication that Caremark have provided was excellent, both within establishing a care plan to meet my mother's needs but also working with my father and me. They always kept me up to date on changes, which was so reassuring as I do not live close by. The carers and management are excellent and professional. I would highly recommend Caremark Warwick. Thank you so much.
Care has been for a short time so far, but excellent care and very cheerful and respectable staff. All tasks are undertaken without even asking making my day much more cheerful than it used to be. Also I feel lovely fresh and clean after the good wash/shower given by staff in a very cheerful manner.
Caremark Warwick has been extremely helpful and accommodating from the start. The communication from them has been fantastic and they always keep us up to date on the carers we have coming in and any changes that may occur. The service they provide is excellent and they work to suit our specific requirements. It is very reassuring for us to know that our mum and dad have some companionship and help during the day, whilst we are at work. The carers are all very friendly and do the job with care and professionalism. We are very happy with all that Caremark offers and will continue to use them for all aspects of care we require, both now and in the future for our parents.
Staff are lovely, supportive, understand my needs and are able to help me maintain my independence. I'd be lost without them all.
The carers all seem very friendly towards my mum, who has Alzheimer’s. They inform me any problems that may arise quickly. When I have met some of the carers they have always treated me well and I can see that my mum feels comfortable in their presence. Would highly recommend Caremark.
Only just started, but the impression is one of carers supportive and helpful.
The team at Caremark Warwick responded quickly to put care in place for my 102 year old mother. They allocated a great companion for her who has been willing to do whatever she wants e.g. exercises, walks in the wheelchair and reading to her. He shows care and compassion. I have also been impressed by the efficiency and flexibility of the whole team. Thank you for improving my life, as well as Mother's.
Mum started having her care package put in place after we lost Dad. Mum has dementia and the carers who go in twice a day are fantastic with her. She engages with them, she loves their company. They take her shopping, help with personal hygiene care, sorting out her meals from the freezer, anything she needs/wants they help her. With myself and my brother not living local to Mum, they are an absolute Godsend in helping us with Mum’s care. Even at very short notice over the weekend just gone, the managing director who owns/runs the company was more than willing to accommodate an extra visit. I would definitely highly recommended Caremark to anyone looking for a reputable care company to look after family members. They are extremely caring and reliable.
My mum has been very happy with the support she has had from Caremark over the last few months. All the carers are very kind and helpful. Mum especially appreciated the patient and understanding care that she was shown recently when she became unwell, and the carer was happy to stay with her until the GP arrived.
Your care team turned up at the times they said they would, which was really important. They were so patient and gentle and adapted each visit to suit Mum’s needs that day. They are cheerful and kind. Well done and thank you.
My sister and I engaged Caremark to provide some companionship for our 86-year-old mother in January 2023. Following a bad fall in April, we were delighted to learn that Caremark was to provide a care package on her return home from the hospital. We have found the carers to be thoroughly professional and - most importantly - always available on the end of the phone for advice and support. Dealing with our mother’s frailty and early-stage dementia was never going to be easy, but it was made considerably easier with Caremark. Thoroughly recommended.
I have been a client with Caremark for some considerable time and have received help after a long stay in hospital, post-COVID care when I was extremely frail, post-operative care after a serious accident and now a daily visit to help with personal care. On all these occasions, the staff have been very professional, polite, kind, caring and encouraging and supportive. They are given training before they start and are encouraged to study and gain more qualifications. Queries are dealt with promptly and a regular carer is provided when possible. This helps me enormously to feel safe with someone I know and who knows my needs and routines. It helps to provide a smooth, effective and efficient service.
Caremark was highly recommended to me and the service received is excellent. They were very prompt in responding to my enquiry and setting up an assessment for my parents. The communication is very good with a weekly rota of times sent out well in advance. All the personnel are kind and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for their services. Well done Caremark Warwick team!
