From my first meeting with the care manager of home instead I felt a weight had been lifted from us as the family of a much loved mother. The carers are professional, kind, patient and intelligent and the added bonus is their sense of humour which is so important. I feel that as her needs inevitably change, they will cope without a fuss. The app is extremely useful as I live far away and can discuss whatever they have done together that day. I'd happily recommend the home instead service to anyone looking to keep their loved ones at home for as long as possible.

Since care was started last year we have increased the input from Home Instead to twice daily to include meal cover. Any increase in care has always been very quickly organised. The care team have always kept us updated about any concerns and have often gone above and beyond to support my mother including helping to organise appointments which fit their schedule so they can take her. The company have been careful to introduce new carers to my mother and all the care team have taken time to try and understand my mother's interests and things she likes. They also undertake a number of household tasks. Contact is very easy even with last-minute requests. I would definitely recommend this care company to anyone looking for high-quality care with a lot more than just basic provision of care.

Home Instead has cared for my husband since his discharge from hospital several months ago, responding quickly to our enquiry and enabling us to get him home as soon as possible. At all times, they have treated him with kindness and respect and good humour. The Home Instead app is a useful tool that allows us to see the schedule of carers, times etc. as well as the documented care given. Thank you for your ongoing support.

As it was my first time looking for care for my elderly mum I was hoping for a personal approach where she wouldn't be rushed through her personal care and a relaxed friendly attitude from the carers who came to the house. That's exactly what I have received and more importantly, I can see that as my mum's condition deteriorates I am also going to receive the benefit of their empathy and understanding. I like that the carers coming to the house are experienced, live locally and seem genuinely interested in their clients and their backstories.

Home Instead has been fantastic in helping me to look after my mum. The carers are all lovely and the change I have seen in Mum is amazing! I can't recommend them enough. They are totally reliable and very responsive to Mum's changing needs. I couldn't manage without them!

We have been really impressed with Home Instead - my mother really enjoys the visits from the carers who are very professional but really friendly and they make the visits fun! The admin backup is also excellent. I would thoroughly recommend the service.

I would recommend Home Instead without hesitation to anyone wanting lovely personalised care for their loved ones. The service was really excellent on every level, their staff are lovely, personable and professional. They were fantastic with all the personal bodily care, as well as the food preparation and being on top of all medication issues. They were also very communicative about each visit as to which carer and when they would be coming. The team management was also directly involved as carers themselves and I was impressed by this. My mother could be difficult and very awkward if she wanted to be, but she always spoke in the most glowing terms about all the different carers she experienced. They had such a good relationship, two of the carers came to her funeral and my mum would have really appreciated that.

Home Instead team has provided excellent care for my father who has dementia. The carers are friendly, helpful and reliable and are supported by a great office team. The app is an extremely useful tool and provides extra reassurance. I am confident that the carers will raise any concerns they may have with the office, who then contact me straight away if required. My father is treated with kindness and dignity.

I have been really impressed with Home Instead, who have arranged a care package for my Mum. The office staff have been very professional and responsive and understood what help and support my Mum needs. The carer is brilliant! She is prompt, kind and supports mum in a respectful and dignified way. It is so reassuring to have a care company that looks after a loved member of your family so well. Thank you so much!

Home Instead (Tyne Valley) have been providing twice daily personal care visits for my elderly father for the past 2 months. They have been very efficient and organised. The care standards are excellent. My father, who was initially reluctant to admit he needed more help, now really values the help he gets, and is very happy with the principal caregivers, noting how kind and caring they are. As I live 300 miles away from my father, being able to view the reports of the visits on the Care Planning app gives me great peace of mind. So far, Home Instead have offered an excellent service - and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

My dad was cared for by the excellent team at Home Instead (Tyne Valley) following his discharge home from hospital. Due to his advanced dementia, he could be very difficult to manage but he was treated at all times with the utmost kindness and respect by the team. I cannot praise their care highly enough and also the outstanding support they extended during this period to my mum and the rest of his family. All of the team were outstanding but I would like to make special mention of some whose compassion and professionalism were excellent. We thank you all that in his final months he was safe and secure in your care.

After the circumstances of my parents (late eighties/early nineties) changed very quickly I needed to put in place professional care in a matter of days. The owner and their team were extremely responsive in assembling a very well matched care package. Quality, consistency and reliability have been there from the start and the communication is excellent, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

I was one of the first, if not the first to be a client of Tyne Valley branch of Home Instead, they have served my wife and me far better than the other companies we have had before. Home Instead is very thorough in everything they do, and take it from me they do everything, including washing and ironing. I could not wish for better service than the carers from Home Instead, Tyne Valley provide and provide with a good heart.

I am absolutely delighted with the care that is given to my elderly parents from Home Instead. Their services give me peace of mind as they really do care about who they care, the caregivers have become very much part of my parent's life and they not only brighten their day but also make sure they are kept as healthy and as safe as possible. I was recommended Home Instead by a colleague from work. Mam, who lives in sheltered accommodation, had been deteriorating for some time both mentally and physically. Home Instead provides a service to her 5 days a week Monday to Friday and family support her over the weekend. The carers support her with her morning medication, ensuring she is wearing her call pendant, cook a light hot meal, wash and apply cream to her legs, take her for a walk up the internal corridor and recently due to a dementia diagnosis apply a daily patch to help with her symptoms. We are delighted with the care Mam is receiving. From the assessment of her needs to the daily care, it has been carried out with compassion, empathy and in a very professional manner. Mam is very fond of her carers and their visits lift her spirits. There is good communication between the carers, managers and myself. With this we hope to keep mam in her own home as long as possible. Thank you so much and keep up the good work.
