View Full Details of Visiting Angels MiddlesexI cannot praise Visiting Angels highly enough. The owner has gone out of his way to help me in these difficult times, he genuinely cares and has offered a fantastic service The carers are wonderful and flexible and will do what needs to be done. I never bother doing reviews but this company really deserves it. Thank you Visiting Angels.
We have been clients for over six months; our care package has increased over the duration from a few hours a couple of times a week increasing to now almost every day; their quick response and smooth transition have made these changes feel seamless. As a company, they are very flexible, and all of their carers are so kind and compassionate. The speed of their responses to any issues or queries is always excellent, as is their total overall service. A recent event that shows how they stand out exceptionally was when my wife and I were abroad and my father-in-law had to go to hospital by ambulance, with his other daughter his chaperone; as is currently with the NHS, he was triaged and a brain scan booked that night, but they would have to spend 5 hours waiting in the back of the ambulance. Upon hearing of this emergency, a member of Visiting Angels who quite by chance was in their vicinity found them and sorted them food, hot drinks, and warm blankets. So above and beyond the cause. Thank you.
Straight from the onset, I realised that Visiting Angels are angels in disguise. Their performance and care to detail are beyond belief and they were prepared to be as flexible as they could with our wants and needs. I told them of the predicament my family were in with my elderly (nearly 99-year-old) mother having suffered various fractures prior to me making contact. From the onset, Visiting Angels came and met my mother in her care home and discussed her needs. They went out of their way to expedite her transfer from care home back home, communicating directly with the Occupational Therapist and making sure every step of the way met all NHS Guidelines. The first carer didn't work out and Visiting Angels were once again able to sort out a replacement within a short timeframe. The current carer that we have is kind, considerate and caring and we are so very happy with her. I would wholeheartedly recommend Visiting Angels and if there was a score of 100 I would give them 110!
Visiting Angels are a very responsive care provider, who put the wellbeing of their client at the heart of what they do. They are very flexible and see the person that they are looking after as their primary concern. They treat my dad like he is a member of their own family in their care of him. I have been very impressed and happy with their care.
We have been using Visiting Angels for the past two and a half years. Initially, VA provided care and support for my mother, who was disabled by a broken hip, and for my father who suffers from Alzheimer's. Up until early 2024, they provided a few hours a week of care, providing support and companionship at home and taking each of them out to local groups. Both my parents very much appreciated the care that was provided and the help with getting out and meeting other people. Sadly, my mother passed away earlier this year, aged 88. This has meant that we have had to increase the care for my 92-year-old father. VA now comes 3 times a day to provide support and companionship, to make meals, and to look after Dad. My father likes all the carers, who are always dependable, friendly and helpful. The carers at Visiting Angels have always been very flexible, kind, and compassionate, which has been especially important over the past 6 months.
We found ourselves thrown into navigating the need for care at home at short notice when my mother was involved in a car accident. The team at Visiting Angels went out of their way to help us, even though it was Christmas, explaining what we needed to know and do in this new situation. This gave us peace of mind that Mum could safely focus on her recovery at home when she was released from hospital (the timing of which was uncertain and affected by the strike etc). They have been thoughtful, flexible and attentive throughout our care journey, whatever time of day or day of the week. They are always seeking feedback, keen to ensure that everything is going well, and going the extra mile - literally because her location is quite rural. We are very grateful for the great care that Mum has received and which has helped her gradually regain her independence.
I contacted Visiting Angels for my aunt who is elderly and suffering with cancer. I was delighted that they responded so quickly and came to see us the very next morning. We had previously been with another well-known care agency in Oxford, but they had not able to give us the hours we required or respond quickly when her needs increased. Visiting Angels were immediately able to provide the hours we asked for. Within a couple of weeks we needed 24/7 care for her and they had that in place within 24 hours of requesting it. When a carer starts a new shift for the first time, they do the first hour with a team member who shows them the routine. Comprehensive notes are kept so that I am able to know how my aunt is at all times. I now know all the carers and they are very kind, compassionate and attentive to my aunt’s needs. Also, everything is so clean and orderly when I come over. She can have very challenging behaviour but they all handle her with patience and warmth.
I was urgently in need of someone to visit my ailing, bed-bound mum on a daily basis to keep her company and to keep an eye on her wellbeing while I had a desperately needed break from my caring duties. I was recommended Visiting Angels by a friend who was using their services. From the moment I spoke to them it was evident that they are committed to providing exceptional care. The carers, under the thoughtful leadership of the managers, displayed a genuine passion for the well-being of my mum. They were exceptional. They really went above and beyond to help my mum and they also gave me highly needed support - not something I've experienced with other the care companies that I've dealt with. This level of attentiveness has truly set them apart in my eyes. The first carer visit was arranged for the following day and was a huge relief for me to have some help/support at such short notice. The carers were wonderful! Overall, I can't recommend this care company highly enough.
Visiting Angels came to the rescue and were very efficient when we needed someone to accompany my dad (wheelchair bound) to a family wedding. It was last minute, but they came and assessed my dad and on the day assisted him throughout the period. My dad was very happy and we cannot thank them enough. We will definitely use them again.
I am so impressed with this company. My elderly mum of 95 years has carers three times a day as she is bed bound. I live abroad and rely and depend on visiting angels to look after my mum. In June, she not only felt poorly but was in agony. She has a shattered hip and can’t walk. She was so bad that the owner himself of Visiting Angels came to the house, saw mum was in agony and immediately called for an ambulance. He drove to the hospital to make sure mum was alright. Not only did he do that but he visited mum in hospital several times during her ten day stay, also another one of the carers visited mum, which was so kind of her. Finally when mum was discharged, the owner of the care company was waiting at mum's home with another carer, to settle her back home. I thought I would have to travel to England but there was absolutely no need. Visiting Angels were there for mum. If you need care for your loved ones, I couldn’t recommend Visiting Angels, Harrow Middlesex, highly enough. Many thanks.
My father has Dementia. I first used Visiting Angels last year when I wanted a carer to visit Dad twice a week. The carer they provided was completely delightful but Dad was so resistant to having help, that after a few visits, I had to cancel the booking. This spring, Dad needed a live-in carer. At very short notice, Visiting Angels found a thoughtful, empathetic carer who Dad has really responded to. In my experience, Visiting Angels is a company that puts the customer’s needs, not the money, first.
We found that my mother’s needs were understood very well by the management. The carer is very well suited to her needs and is punctual and courteous at all times. The management is quick to respond to our needs and has given us excellent service to date.
The quality of service has been more than excellent. The companionship on the days designated to me has been, in more ways than one, very favourable. Nothing it seems is too much trouble when it comes to helping out in the household or trips outside the house. I leave you with the following message; Keep up the good work and rest assured that your goal of helping others has been a task firmly and proudly set for the foreseeable future.
Carers were needed at very short notice and the management team made arrangements within 24 hours including a weekend. They were very supportive of all the family, professional but very caring. The carers were punctual, established a good, respectful working relationship and helped with all asked of them. Their care and support was invaluable in enabling the family to handle a difficult situation. They will be the first team I will go to if ever need support and am happy to recommend these carers.
Very kind, happy, courteous and caring team. Also, normally very punctual. New carers are introduced by shadowing existing carers to familiarise my wife with them. Quite expensive, in my opinion, but they don't charge extra for weekends and bank holidays, except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day when the charge is doubled. No other charges are applied.
Have been employing Visiting Angels for the last year to provide personal care for my sister who has an eating disorder and suffers from vascular dementia, learning difficulties and autism. Despite all the complexities associated with looking after my sister, the carers have proved themselves well up to the task. They really do care and provide a professional service, delivered with kindness and respect. The carers are responsive to all my requests and the management are really easy to communicate with. First-class service!
We have had no problems with the staff and management, who all appear on time and are willing to perform everything asked. They are all respectful and are a pleasure to be with.
Very kind carers. They arrive on time and willingly do all that is asked of them. Happy and friendly and very helpful.
I was extremely pleased with the way my husband was looked after. I know now when I need a break, I can rely on Visiting Angels to look after my husband!
Visiting Angels - Middlesex have been very professional both in care, support and management. My mum was very happy with her care and punctuality of the staff. We would highly recommend this carer service.
