View Full Details of Kwikfix Recruitment Services LtdOverall service is good. Communication requires to be looked into. Carers always complaining about their wages not being paid on time, this affects their work. Spot checks and reviews are not carried out on a regular basis, unless reminded.
Office staff could do better in letting clients know if carers are running late.
The carers are wonderful, kind and verr caring, I cannot find fault with them. They treat me with respect and I have never felt uncomfortable or uneasy, that is important to me.
Carers are always in a rush and ask to leave early regularly and can be argumentative. Seems they are more interested in getting the job done as quickly as possible and asking to leave early rather than providing my mum with the care needed. Damage to my mums property. The carpet has been damaged. The toilet was blocked and left by carers. Around my mum's bed, there is damage to the walls. General lack of care for my mum's property. Food served to mum is sometimes prepared incorrectly or given to her cold and even once frozen. Washing up by the carers is inadequate. Knife and forks tend to not have been cleaned correctly and need to be rewashed. Carers don't tidy up after themselves. Leave messy work surfaces. Not disposing of rubbish correctly. Safety lock has been left open with code on show a few times now. The biggest issue with the carers from this company is that they are in a rush to get in and out and ask to leave early. This leads to the carers making mistakes and not providing the proper care needed.
Always there to help you and give you good advice on what to do. I like that you can contact someone for help 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
We have a good opinion of all carers who attend. They all work to the very best of their abilities and always with respect and care.
The management and carers team at Kwikfix Recruitment Service Ltd provide my grandmother and I a professional quality care service on a daily basis. They have proven to constantly at times have gone above and beyond to ensure outstanding support. They are always presentable, very friendly and engage well in communication and conversation; ultimately giving us a pleasurable, satisfying and comfortable experience and genuine dedication to ensure our needs are met.
Very pleased with company, staff very helpful. Just one thing, I wish you would not send in carers that are very nervous of dogs, I have two cockapoos. My 9-year-old is not very bouncy. So gentle. My 6-year-old is very playful, they both would not hurt anyone.
Very satisfactory, overall staff Lovely however communication could be better !and cars not breaking down everybody knows what I think I am always honest in my opinion we get there some days can be very frustrating .because staff don't always understand on communication level but we get around it And stuff transportation cars offer breakdown often don't get phone by headquarters .plus if drivers are stuck in traffic also the staff would say we were late because of the traffic always traffic on the road .anyway. Think that what I meant by management issues.
Listened to everything we said and acted on them. Was helpful and informative.
Carers always cheerful and treat my husband with respect, even though he has little communication skills they still speak to him. Management support could be improved to both client and carers. Don't think it's right we should have to phone to ask where carers are when 2 hours late due to vehicle problems, especially when carers reported issue and asked office to advice clients.
I am my wife's 24/7 carer, and unexpectedly admitted to hospital, at short notice. A carer from Kwikfix Recruitment Services became my wife's 24-hour live-in carer. Her service, kindness, empathy and hard work, in understanding my wife's needs is exemplary and hugely reassuring.
The young lady who visited me yesterday was keen to offer a good service, however, she was over-eager to give me advice rather than do her job! I felt humiliated by her attitude as she treated me like a child, I am disabled, not senile! At least her language skills were an improvement over other carers. With a little bit of training, she could be a good carer.
Overall, the care my husband receives is very good.
Carers are usually late, or very late. Some are good, some not. All would benefit from further training. My husband, a stroke survivor, has trouble understanding some of them because of a lack of English speakers. Overall, most are pleasant and doing their best. I think some supervision would be useful as new carers seem to be thrown in the deep end far too soon. Most, but not all, are kind and courteous.
Service very well received. Thank you.
Your carers should be given a medal for the work they do - they are fantastic.
On the first day started caring for our Mother, was supposed to meet us at 8am, but didn't turn up until after 9am and Mother had wandered for a walk. (I ended up giving breakfast and a cup of tea etc). We did say we need the earlier visit. This evening was supposed to be meeting them at 6pm. Must have come earlier - Mother in tears and scared. Once again another male when we wanted a Female. Shocking and for the first day when she needed to be settled into the care which she wasn't going to be used to obviously no empathy or professionalism. Well, your company has lasted 1 day with us. Your leadership team may need to reflect on what they are being communicated about the patient and why certain things are important especially when I have taken the day off work to meet you at certain times.
Timekeeping is a big issue with this company, carers only staying for part of their time allocated to the service user. Arriving early and late without notification. 13 minutes or so for a 30-minute call. 20-25 minutes for a 45-minute call. Not all carers fulfilling their caring duties. Lack of communication from the service provider/carer to the service user and their family. Personal care was a bit lapse. Shocking to say the least. Wouldn't recommend this company to look after a dog while on holiday let alone a vulnerable person. Have sent my concerns to the manager, however, the response I got was not satisfactory in resolving the issue/concerns I had raised.
Since February 15th and having this team the service has been poor, very poor. The carers themselves are lovely. Although don't expect any full English ones so if you have trouble understanding ascents and don't have the patience to communicate then I wouldn't go with them. They have one driver to move 4 carers around most days so expect up to an hour and a half sometimes 2 hours late, e.g. suppose have 9.30 am call but don't usually come until 11-11.30. When you call the office don't expect an answer for the first half hour after them being open, also they don't have VM so can't leave a message. You have to always repeat yourselves as they don't listen to requirements, e.g. asked not to have a male carer in morning or bed call when got to change but they haven't listened. I can't go out anyway because they are always late and can't afford to miss any my 4x day care, I feel stuck in my home and can't do the exercise I need in the morning to get better due to them being late getting me out of bed. As I have got rails I can't get down.
