View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Cirencester)Too much interested in the money and not in providing the service. I feel that I was misled on the initial assessment fee. Service times were changed without consulting us. Invoices though were submitted even after a reasonable notification on the cancellation of a visit. I would not use them again.
Helping Hands Home Care have recently picked up the care package for my Uncle who has complex needs. They were supporting him before with one visit a day, he now has 3 visits. The package has been changed over from another care provider as that agency were failing him. I feel a lot more confident with HH visiting. He seems brighter, is clean and tidy and he's being encouraged to eat. In addition his care needs are regularly assessed and their communication is excellent. The staff are friendly and efficient and we've also been visited by the care coordinator and senior manager recently also excellent. Thank you Helping Hands.
Helping Hands have provided personal care for my wife who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. Daily visits from friendly competent and caring staff have made it possible for me to care for her at home.
The standard of care from Helping Hans has been excellent. We feel that carers actually know Mum. After an initial mix-up with central admin re the direct debit, the local office have been fantastic. It is extremely useful to be able to pop-in and chat to staff about their service, any changes to care and any issues.
From our initial contact with the Cirencester Helping Hands office, we received a kind and immediate response. We needed overnight waking hours care for my 94-year-old mother, who was receiving palliative care at home. We were not sure how long this situation would last so had to keep reviewing things but a rota was set up for a few days in advance and we were sent the names of the carers beforehand. They were all extremely compassionate, reliable, professional and sensitive to my mother's needs which changed daily and became more acute as time went on until she passed away. There were a couple of occasions when we did find out at short notice, via email, that a carer couldn’t be found for the night which needed sorting but overall we were very happy with the service and quality of care provided. Thank you.
My partner is very happy with all the carers from Helping Hands. They show understanding of her needs and attend to my partner in a gentle and sensitive way. They pay attention to detail and leave everything neat and tidy. The carers are punctual and spend appropriate time at the necessary tasks. They are positive and cheerful and my partner responds well to the social interaction. Although we have several different carers there is a strong sense of team spirit and enthusiasm. Dealing with the agency is clear cut.
I have found all of the carers that we had to visit wonderful, friendly and professional. Nothing is too much trouble. We look forward to seeing them on their daily visits.
