Friendly, organised, caring, efficient carers. Treated my mum with respect and dignity as well as being friendly and chatty. Also pleased with the clear and regular communication with the managers and office staff.
I have used Helping Hands for my Sister-in-Law for companionship and helping around the home for the past 3/4 months and they have been amazing, my sister-in-law is disabled and they are a great help and such lovely people! Would definitely recommend it!
We have found Helping Hands to be extremely professional. They have provided excellent care and my dad really enjoys their visits. They are happy to administer medication and have even suggested extra support if they see a need. Currently they are invaluable in keeping dad safe in his own home.
Helping hands have improved the quality of my elderly dad's life since receiving their care. He has built up relationships with the staff. Recently, due to the quick action of the supervisor, expedited his admission to hospital following a fall and a long lie outside, we experienced the expertise. Her actions whilst waiting for the ambulance surely saved his life. I cannot be more grateful. The flexibility and accommodation of his needs has been exemplary since his return home. The team liaise well with the PICs team and due to this collaboration means dad can remain at home and recover. This service I cannot recommend enough. The team deserve recognition and high praise as I know he is being well looked after and this puts my mind at ease.
As acting Power of Attorney for a lady originally from Thailand on behalf of her step children, where I needed the help of a care agency as her husband passed away earlier this year. With health issues and unable to read English, she was not taking her medication or visits to the doctor and dentist. Helping Hands Home Care were superb in helping with emergency medical appointments, regular carer visits morning and evening , the lady looked forward to their visits and chats which made her life more enjoyable. Easy to call Helping Hands day or night if needed. I was so lucky in finding such an amazing company.
Helping Hands have been caring for my dad since the end of last year. The staff have always been caring, kind and patient with him. It has made all the difference in his life and has enabled him to stay in his own home. He really enjoys their visits and chats. After a hospital admission at the beginning of the year, it was possible to increase the visits until Dad felt well enough to be more independent. After an accident at home 2 weeks ago when conditions were extreme, Dad was given amazing care and was taken to hospital for treatment. Without the quick thinking and care given by the helping hands team, the situation would have been very different. I cannot praise the team enough for their high standard of care and flexibility. Communication with them has been fantastic and she has managed to support Dad's increased needs since discharge. Helping Hands have given my sister and me the peace of mind that my dad is in safe and caring hands with the team.
We have recently arranged for Helping Hands to provide care for my mum who lives in her own flat and is very frail. From our initial meeting to assess Mum's needs, to find out what she likes, to her regular visits, everyone has shown such kindness, professionalism and attention to Mum's ongoing care. She really looks forward to her carers twice a day, feeling very at ease, and she has a good routine now with help for those tasks she finds difficult now. It is such piece of mind for me too, knowing that she looks forward to her visits, her chats and they treat her with such kindness and respect. Thank you so much, I am so very pleased we chose Helping Hands, and would not hesitate to recommend you all there.
We have had very good and reliable support for our Mum. She has not had much, one or two visits a week, but it has been very good. Well organised, good communication and the carer herself was delightful.
The carer arrived on time and we immediately started talking and sharing information about ourselves. The atmosphere was very relaxed and I explained what I would like the carer to do on this visit. I'm sure the extra help and company will be very welcome each week. I think the carer is flexible enough to fit in with my needs which may vary according to my health.
Always professionally correct, a great help in getting up in the morning. Carer is very good.
