View Full Details of Redleif Care - YeovilWe made a visit to Redleif and had to inconvenience them by having meetings with DWP and social services due to us living some distance away. They couldn't have been more accommodating and their hospitality was fantastic. Mum has always been fiercely independent and resisted going into a home for so long and we agreed that we would support her to stay in her own home for as long as possible. Redleif is a fantastic home, and Mum's room is great. The whole set up provides the residents with a 'home from home' experience. Thank you for providing such care and support for mum, she now thinks of it as her home which is a great relief to us and testament to the fantastic job you are doing.
Excellent and professional care, no request is too difficult. Redleif carers are very kind and patently help Mum navigate her way through her changing dementia- which is not without its challenges. All carers from Redlief work alongside microcarers who have been in place for a while, and are very sensitive to the fact that they are independent carers. The head of home care and her colleagues do all they can to work well within this existing team.
I cannot fault Redleif Care. Staff are very helpful. They all work in a professional manner and have great communication skills all round. Work has been carried out ensuring all clients' needs are met. The staff are empathetic, encouraging independence where possible and ensure that tasks are carried out with dignity. Redleif are very keen to help and have done everything they can to ensure all needs are met.
An amazing care home which genuinely feels like home from home. From classy and modern surroundings, home-cooked food and the family vibe for residents and carers - this place has been a saviour for our family. They provide a service which is second to none. They care above and beyond what's 'required'. Each service user is personally provided for to suit their needs and their wants. As a daughter who struggles with Mum's dementia, they make leaving her more bearable and simple because I know she's in loving and caring safe hands. Thank you - you really are exceptional.
I live overseas so have only met my mother's carers briefly. Overall I am satisfied with the care Mum is receiving. This has recently improved now Mum is only having the same carers daily so she has that familiarity. Keeping a notebook of Mum's daily care helps to keep each carer aware of Mum's needs.
I do not have the words or the talent to fully express how amazing these people are. They truly put ‘care’ into care homes. My mother’s dementia became increasingly problematic for me to manage, to the point where I had to make the heartbreaking decision to find somewhere safe for her. Thankfully Redlief Care had just opened and were happy to take my mother, and importantly, her little dog Ivy. They cared for Mum better than I had ever managed to, despite my best efforts - and were literally holding her hand until the very end. If you are looking for someone important to you to be tended to by gentle, sincere, kind and big-hearted people - look no further. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Redlief Care.
I am a new client to Redleif. I have had carers for two years but have only just come over to Redleif recently. I must say, I am so glad I did. I have three calls a day always on time and if they are going to be late because of traffic etc they always ring me to let me know. The service provided is superb. Carers are always interested in my day if I need further help and my needs. Congratulations Redleif.
All the carers are fabulous, they really do care for my dad and are very friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. They are much more reliable than my previous experience so I would certainly recommend them.
The service I get is exceptionally excellent and friendly and professional. If there's a problem with the time they should arrive they always phone to explain why and when they will be with me. I can't speak more highly of the team for my care.
We have used Redleif Care for a few months now to give a lady support to remain in her own home. The 2 calls each day are on time and as it’s a relatively small team of carers we have got to know them all quite well. I am a private carer for the lady Redleif cares for but we needed someone to come in and help on a daily basis. It’s been so helpful to have a team that we can rely on and trust. They are always positive and happy which brightens the lady’s day. She is supported with medication, preparing food and drinks. They understand and bring a sense of humour with them which is needed to keep the lady upbeat. They also support us in doing some chores around the house when they have time. Not only do they do all this, once a week my client has a companionship visit to take her out and about which is so beneficial. She is escorted to places of her choice and well looked after.
Such a warm, caring atmosphere created by every one of the friendly, compassionate staff who treat each client as an individual - and communicate well with families too. Respite care at Redleif enabled our mother to feel secure in their care and really helped in her post-hospital recovery. We could not have asked for more.
Following a couple of recent hospital stays, my mother spent several weeks at Redleif House for respite. During this time, she found all staff to be calm, caring, reassuring, respectful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the Redleif staff. As a family, we felt secure in the fact that she was extremely well looked after and would highly recommend Redleif House to anyone seeking care.
Redleif were carers for my husband and when he died 3 years ago they undertook my care. I have a very good relationship with all carers and highly recommend them.
Mum was cared for 3 times a day by Redleif Home Care. They went out of their way to help with anything she needed, kept the kitchen clean, ensured she had a midday meal ready and provided evening meals. Throughout, all carers were attentive, kind, caring and supportive to enable Mum to stay in her home as long as possible.
