View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Lincoln)Helping Hands Home Care (Lincoln) carers were fantastic with my husband's Nan, and she thoroughly enjoyed the company of all of the girls. Our family would like to thank all at Helping Hands for the care provided to Nan.
Haven't had any problems at all.
My mum is 94, has cancer, which means she can only eat soft food and has severe memory loss. Helping Hands visit three times a day to ensure she’s eating suitable meals, giving her her medication, keeping her company, going for a walk and generally making sure she can manage everything. Since they started in May, they’ve been wonderful. She enjoys their visits (says they’re “ a lovely bunch of ladies”). They keep an eye on her health and are very good at communicating with me if they’re worried about Mum. Due to the memory loss, I don’t believe Mum would be safe living alone any longer without Helping Hands. They enable her to stay in the home she loves so much. And they give me the piece of mind to know Mum’s safe. On the administrative side, they’re very efficient. It’s really useful to have the times of visits each week and who’ll be visiting. Mum doesn’t always remember, but it means I can have a chat each day and remind her who’s visiting. Worth every penny.
The helpers have always been kind and cheerful, usually on time except when they could not find our new home. My husband seemed to welcome them all with no queries. All the carers observed the covid restrictions.
The Helping Hands office team are very professional, organised and flexible and communication is excellent. Any issues we experience with Mum are responded to with guidance, patience and understanding. I have only met one of the carers, but I have confidence in the service and it is reliable, so I have confidence in the staff. There will always be things in the care sector that don't go according to plan, but I have given Helping Hands 5 stars because of the overall positive experience.
Helping Hands provide a high quality service and go the extra mile when required. They have made it possible for me to continue living independently. I would happily recommend their services to friends and family. Thanks guys and keep up the good work.
Patience with my mum, not felt rushed. Asked about our house rabbit who then obliged and came in to say hello. Asked if anything needed doing and offered to clean the downstairs toilet. Afterwards, I noticed how clean it was and felt I couldn't use it. It was better than what I had been doing.
Have had to implement a care package for my dad and have found helping hands able to meet all our needs. Dad has had no complaints of any care and is not always the easiest to please, always reliable and to time, any problems or concerns have been easily and quickly resolved.
