View Full Details of Quality Care Dorset LtdQuality Care Dorset looked after my dad for 3 years and I would like to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible team. Throughout this time, their compassion, and unwavering dedication made a profound difference in our lives. From the very beginning, they provided not just exceptional care, but also genuine kindness that went above and beyond their duties. The attentiveness to his needs made him feel comfortable and respected. They handled every situation with grace and patience, ensuring my dad always felt valued and understood. Their presence brought immense comfort to our family, knowing that he was in such capable and caring hands. They were not just carers, but became part of our lives, offering support and empathy during the most challenging times. Sadly, my dad passed away recently, but we will forever be grateful for the love and care they provided him. Their dedication and kindness will always be remembered, and we cannot thank them enough for their extraordinary service
My neighbour and close friend was fortunate enough to be cared for by the team. His late wife had also been cared for by the same team. I have had a lot of connections with care agencies over the years and I have never encountered such a harmonious and delightful team. They all were so attentive, went the extra mile and were always amenable. The gentleman looked forward to their visits. He was even visited in the hospital and many of the carers attended his funeral which, I consider, speaks volumes. I would recommend them to anyone. Vulnerable people in the community are lucky to have such a caring company in the area.
Quality Care Dorset have been wonderful in the care they have and are providing for my mother-in-law. My mother-in-law has dementia and was initially reluctant to have carers coming in. The lovely deputy manager was amazing in alleviating our fears and so knowledgeable and kind to my mother-in-law. A comprehensive assessment took place taking into account all my mother-in-laws holistic needs, likes and dislikes. The manager and all the staff that attend to my mother-in-law are kind, patient, understanding and always professional. We feel very fortunate to have found them and can not recommend them more highly to care for a loved one in their own home. The support we have received as a family has taken a huge amount of pressure off us and given us great peace of mind in the knowledge that she is receiving excellent care.
Quality Care Dorset has been looking after my aunt for a few years now and lately my mum at home, they have provided daily personal care for both of them who are bedridden and in my mum's case has dementia, in such a professional, kind and caring way. What a fantastic team of ladies who in my opinion go the extra mile and always have a smile on their face and a pleasant can-do attitude. They have been so accommodating and flexible in terms of helping in emergency situations which without them I am not sure what we as a family would have done. I can't praise them all highly enough for everything they do on a daily basis to make sure my aunt and mum are comfortable and well looked after. I have seen such an improvement in my mum since coming under their excellent care and would highly recommend their services. Well done ladies and please know you have my and my family's most sincere thanks for your hard work.
Over the last three years in between hospital admission, Quality Care Dorset cared for my mother in her own home. It started with visits 4 times a day to provide help with getting up and breakfast in the morning, a visit and lunch at lunchtime, another at supper time and one at bedtime. They made sure that Mother was fed, clean and took her tablets. As Mother needed more assistance the visits were increased and shopping was done for her and she was able to sit in the sun in her wheelchair when she was unable to walk. Since January 2022 Quality Care Dorset have provided care 12 hours per day and after the last hospital admission 24 hours a day as Mother did not want to be left alone. Mother died yesterday, as she wanted, at home at the age of 107, her latter years prolonged by the excellent care she received especially bearing in mind she was almost blind, very deaf and doubly incontinent. The women from Quality Care Dorset have been wonderful, made friends and looked after Mother better than I could have done.
My mother has received care at home from Quality Care since November 2020. Over time this has steadily increased with her increasing frailty to the level of 4 visits each day. The care has been really very good with some of the individual carers developing a close and very caring bond. The service has been responsive and proactive in managing her care and maintaining good communication with emergency services, GP, nursing staff, myself and of course Mum. In May she celebrated her 101st birthday whilst still in her own home; this was made entirely possible through the ongoing care and support given by QC. With anyone of this ripe age, care is not always easy and there are many unforeseeable events, extra demands and mishaps to be managed, sometimes at very inconvenient hours. I am pleased to say that Mum's needs were always prioritised; I am most grateful to all their staff.
Quality Care has looked after my elderly mother for some time now, and they really do care. She now has two carers four times a day due to her health issues, and they always ring me if they feel there are any immediate issues, and I know I can always call them. Someone will always answer the phone! The carers always take their time with Mum and make sure she is comfortable before they leave her. Kind, conscientious carers. Excellent service from the manager down.
Quality Care, Dorset supported my mum and I through the end of life care of my mum's partner. Two carers came four times a day, whilst mum and I covered the rest of his care needs. I simply cannot fault the whole team! Headed by the manager, who couldn't have been more supportive, making sure that even if they weren't there, we could call her at any time should we have a problem - need advice or indeed if we needed someone to come and help - all the girls urged us to call and one of them would be near enough to pop in. If my mum's partner was asleep or didn't need anything for the call, they all offered to help us with any other jobs we might need doing, often just having a chat with us all. At each call and dealing with his personal care needs, they were professional, caring, kind and gentle, maintaining his dignity at all times. Never rushed and always felt like they had plenty of time. The manager, two staff members in particular and all the girls, thank you so much for making a difficult time better, you really do care!
Quality Care Dorset team have been so very kind and professional in looking after my parents both with separate needs. I can highly recommend them. If it wasn’t that my father now needs 24 hour care I would still be using their services. The team have come part of our family.
My aunt is 102 years old and is increasingly frail and suffering from memory loss. We engaged Quality Care, Dorset several months ago and they provide carers who visit my aunt four times per day. They are reliable and take on extra tasks, when required. They keep us in touch with any unexpected events and send clear monthly bills. The carers are personable, friendly and take time to chat to my aunt. The administration and management team have relevant experience and run a very effective organisation.
The team at Quality Care have been wonderful to my dad, visiting him two or three times a day, helping with his personal and medical care and importantly, taking time to chat with him and treating him with kindness. The manager and team have always been very accommodating and quick to adjust if we have had to change his requirements. Thank you for the excellent care.
Thank you so much for looking after my Mother in the last stage of her dementia, all your team showed such care and compassion and were professional all the way through while helping with everything. I can’t fault the service you all gave, right up to my mother's passing.
I would certainly recommend Quality Care Dorset. The support provided by Quality Care has been crucial in allowing my mother, at the age of 97, to continue living independently in her own flat. She speaks highly of the warmth and empathy of all members of the care team, and it is clear that they understand her needs and skilfully anticipate the help that is required. I receive regular updates, including emails and calls, to ensure that I am involved in my mother's care. This is particularly reassuring given the current lockdown as I live 300 miles away from my mother. This responsiveness typifies the quality of service that the team provide, and I feel that care is genuinely central to their ethos.
What a fantastic company. They really do provide "quality care". I cannot recommend her girls highly enough. They have provided fantastic palliative care to my beautiful mum over the past few weeks and at all times with the utmost care and compassion and respect for mum (and for us). Thank you you really are all angels and have made this horrendous time more bearable.
