Two months ago I fractured my pelvis and Candle Flame Care provided overnight care for both of us while I recovered and then emergency respite care when needed. We couldn't fault them in any way. Their approach - friendly, without being intrusive and their professionalism meant we had complete trust in them at a time when we were both quite helpless ourselves. Along the way they helped me to develop some useful skills for the time when I was able to resume full care for my husband.
The care team are very dedicated. They provide exactly what my Dad needs and even a bit more. They communicate well with all the family and we feel they will always be there for all of us whatever that may take.
From the very start of meeting the manager in our dad’s home we felt at ease. She informed us what we could expect of her company’s services. She is also a qualified nurse which we were very pleased about. We were so impressed with the manager's professional approach and the way she answered our questions, that we wanted her company to start the care for our dad as soon as possible. We started by having someone come in 3 mornings a week. Dads carer clicked with Dad quite quickly, he is a very caring, kind and compassionate man. He’s very understanding of Dad and helps him considerably. The care has gradually changed to 2 times a day, 7 days a week. We are so happy with Dad's carer and Candle Flame Care. They have gone above and beyond to care for our dad. We are so assured that Dad's care is given with understanding and we know his safety is paramount. I would recommend this company highly. We’ve only known them for a short time but their care has been incredible and very accommodating.
