View Full Details of Edith Healthcare WolverhamptonEdith Healthcare has been our saviour. They stepped in at Christmas time and provided help, advice and care to our 93-year-old mother as an emergency case. Every one of the carers was worth their weight in gold. Each one of them made us feel confident with her care. Mom was made to feel at ease with the personal care that was offered. One day they even brought her flowers, which made us all cry. She held hands with them and waved them off and looked forward to seeing them when they returned. They even took the time to call in on the night that she died to offer their condolences. My sister and I can’t thank them enough. Please use these wonderful carers if you need help with your loved ones.
Thank you to the manager and all the staff at Edith for all the support and care provided to auntie during her last days. All the staff were very lovely and caring and I know my auntie and uncle really appreciated their presence every time they came.
They started off by saying they only did a telephone assessment due to Covid, however, I insisted they came out to see my mother. From the start, the owner led me to believe she was a nurse. I did some research and this was not the case, the care staff were not competent in caring for my mother. It was very poor care, they didn’t know how to write a care plan, they could not be left alone as they didn’t know how to do basic moving and handling which lead to my mother becoming marked. I arranged a meeting but as mum went into hospital they didn’t bother turning up. They did an investigation which was poor so as a family we decided to let safeguarding and CQC deal with this and we’re still awaiting an outcome, but my mum is safe now by not having this company. I advise not to have them near anyone due to lack of care knowledge.
