I can't praise MAUCARE enough. The care and attention they gave Dad was wonderful. The staff are helpful and compassionate and amazing support. The company responded quickly to any queries and dealt with things efficiently. A truly superb service
My husband was discharged from the hospital to palliative care. We had never had an experience of a care agency or of teams of people coming into our home. We were somewhat nervous about this, however, we were so delighted with the carers who came, they were endlessly cheerful, dependable and understanding of our sad situation. They treated my husband with great respect and I am very grateful.
Lovely carers always on time and kind. Spend the specified time. The carers could ask my dad what he wants (he will usually say "nothing") in terms of helping with his washing and putting his refuse out and going for a walk. Overall, excellent care. Thank you.
It's my first week using this company for my Father and what a superb service, I like that the visitors take time to talk to him. I was so pleased to find out today 16.3.24 On arriving there one of the women got him up out of bed and out for a trip around the neighborhood. There are still a few ongoing issues regarding medication but I'm sure they will be resolved it's still early days.
I began using the service late in 2023. Overall I am very happy with how my initial experience with them has been. It is fair to say it’s been a steep learning curve for both myself as a new client and the care professionals who have provided my care. This is an ongoing process. Due to totally understandable factors beyond the carers' control they are not always able to get to me at the most optimum time for me. This can lead to some frustration as I am someone who thrives on regularity. Because of the varying times carers are able to start my appointments I sometimes feel anxious that I don’t always have time to fully make them understand how I would like things done. I also get the feeling they are in a hurry to finish so they try to do things too quickly.
Great, polite customer care, always there to help my mum out in the mornings and evenings, getting her ready for bed and washing her in the mornings. Chatting to her after her operation and with her dementia that’s why I went to MAUCARE Services because of their qualified staff who deal with this situation and are always there at the end of the phone as well if you need them. Thanks again to all the staff and good luck for the future.
Carers are very good, always pleasant, caring, and making sure that I am comfortable when they have finished. Sometimes rota requires them to spend a lot of their time travelling between clients. I believe management is trying to address this issue.
I have used MAUCARE Services for several months now. They have proved to be the best care company I have used. The carers are courteous and supply the utmost of care and kindness. They are helpful and follow instructions very well. They are usually on the time that is set for my call using my key box. I am very happy with the care they give me in helping me get dressed and other daily breakfast preparation and household chores. I have recommended them several times.
Due to the unfortunate absence caused by ill health of my regular carer, I have had a succession of different staff helping me with showering, probably numbering at least a dozen different people, without fail they have treated me with respect and courtesy and according to their levels of experience with expertise and confidence. I have been at times a little dismayed to meet another new face but everyone has been helpful and friendly. I appreciate some of the difficulties experienced by office staff and have agreed to a later start in the morning as previously there could be considerable delays, not the fault of showering staff, but with drivers and other administration difficulties and shortages. I have only just started at the later time and cannot judge or get how smoothly it will run but I have appreciation of all that is done for me.
All the carers I have are extremely pleasant, they are kind and whatever food I require to have they make for me. They help me get out of bed and shower. The service is brilliant. I would like to say a big thank you to them, they are very supportive and helpful. They always cheer me up if I feel low with my condition.
MAUCARE Services were caring for my late husband. I can't thank them enough for the care and attention they gave him. Nothing was too much trouble, the girls were always friendly and smiling and couldn't do enough for us. I couldn't have coped without their help and support. Thank you so much.
My mother has been a client of MAUCARE Services for a number of years. I have always received great care and attention regarding her health and wellbeing. She is now in decline due to dementia and I am always advised if there are any circumstances I should be aware of. I am grateful for all the support my mother and I have received over the years.
First-class care provided. Thank you. For my wife.
My carer is lovely. She is so helpful and I feel like she would do anything within her means. She likes to make me better in myself.
My husband (the patient) and myself could not be more happy with this company, we will be so sorry to lose them! They are all so caring and if ever we feel a bit down they bring a smile to our face! From carers to management they are all so friendly, I don't think we would have managed without them. Whatever company we end up with will have a lot to compete with! MAUCARE Services all the way! Thank you everyone.
We cannot thank all of the staff at MAUCARE Services enough for all of their love and support over the last few months, whilst they were caring for Dad at home. The whole team have been absolutely amazing, always treating Dad with the care, respect, and camaraderie he deserved. They really treated him as a friend and did everything they possibly could to help him and make him as comfortable as possible. Dad came to regard the girls as his friends too, which meant that their visits were always something to be enjoyed rather than endured at a time when he felt so vulnerable. Our whole family is so immensely grateful that Dad was looked after so well and I would not hesitate to recommend MAUCARE Services. Thank you.
Let me say I am extremely happy with the care my wife receives. My wife needs special care, and the carers are very kind and compassionate, as are the management team.
This service is extremely professional, giving an all-round exceptional standard of care. All the carers that have attended to me have shown the utmost consideration and respect. I also find the weekly rota notifications really helpful.
All staff went the extra mile. They were efficient, caring, and friendly. They reacted well to an emergency on my aunt's last day in her bungalow. She was in a poor state, not dressed, and stuck in the toilet. An ambulance was en route to take her to the hospice. A carer was sent straight away - got her dressed and into the ambulance, then went back and tidied the bungalow. She also tried her best to calm my aunt down. I cannot thank them enough.
