View Full Details of My Homecare Warrington & SalfordMy overall experience with My Homecare is good. All the carers are nice. I've been treated with dignity and respect. It's value for money and I would recommend the service to others because it is a really good service.
Staff were nice, there were a lot of communication issues as my relative is a stroke patient and staff were not giving time to work out what my relative was saying; in the end staff were pretending they knew what my relative was saying instead of asking my relative to write it down which frustrated my relative. When my relative was able to communicate well, the days ran smoothly; all staff had a laugh and seemed to enjoy their shift here. Not one member of management discussed any problems/concerns with myself. The package was dropped and only the social worker was informed. “Family getting involved and mistreating staff” was the diabolical excuse I received which I know are lies due to interior CCTV and when staff asked for my help I asked them to only communicate with my relative as it is her home and her care. I’m not sure if I would ever take up the job offer I received from this company from before my relative had the stroke as there are so many management issues.
Staff professional, cheerful and caring. My mum is very grateful for the help. Management respond immediately if there has been a problem with illness or with car breakdowns. They always send someone else instead.
All of the ladies who come to the house to see my wife have done a good job. She occasionally does not want to cooperate with them, maybe trying to exert her independence, but with a little help from me she accepts them and they are patient with her. The sit-in and cleaning visits are good. During sit-ins, she will do activities if I leave the room, so I'm able to do things.
I am satisfied with the care I receive from My Homecare Warrington & Salford. The care meets my needs, all the carers are well-behaved and trained. However, I would like to get fixed regular timeframes for my calls. Most of my calls are changed without my knowledge, but there is room for improvement. I also need to be made aware of the complaints procedure for the agency. I am however satisfied with the raised concerns abovementioned.
My Homecare Warrington and Salford have been really professional and delivered what they said they would do. They put my mother first and were very friendly and efficient. On the final day, when my mother went into a care home they pampered her and removed any anxiety on the move.
I write a review on behalf of my friend. My Homecare has been wonderful to him. All the carers have become his friend I have seen a huge difference in his wellbeing. I cannot thank this company enough.
The carers looked after my Gran who has sadly passed away since. They did a fantastic job with her, each and every single one was so compassionate and caring. They made my Gran feel so at ease. They really got to know her and made her laugh right until the end. The management team were so helpful. Any request my family had, they met with no problem. I am so grateful this company were the company we chose to look after her.
The review was conducted in a friendly and happy environment. Thanks to My Homecare and their helpful and friendly carers. I am happy with my experience, with all the healthcare professionals, including my social worker.
I have been receiving care for over a year. The staff are always friendly and sympathetic when I have my down days. I have carers 4 times a day as I am bed bound and they treat me with dignity and respect. The carers make my meals at every call. The continuity of staff is an important thing most of the time I get continuity and have built up a good relationship. I would highly recommend the care company
We have found the carers for this care agency to be very good, they are all very polite, friendly and caring towards my husband and myself. Timing of visits can be difficult due to the nature of the work but overall we are happy with this too. We are very happy with the service they provide.
I have been receiving care now for a while. This is the best homecare company I have used. I have carers every day, all carers treat me with respect and dignity. I have built a great relationship with my regular carers. Whenever I have needed to speak to the office, someone has always answered the phones, even on weekends. The carers constantly go out of their way for me. Thank you.
For most of the last twelve months of his life, my Dad was bedbound. The carers really got to know Dad and his likes and dislikes. If he was down they would try to cheer him up and succeed. They treated him with such care and respect. Any minor issues we had (with new carers generally who didn't know the routine) were dealt with promptly. The visits from the team were the highlight of Dad's day. (Despite family being there with him). Dad developed dementia and could be uncharacteristically unkind to his wife of 65 years. The carers also supported her too and showed great understanding.
My Wife suffered from delirium after being discharged from the hospital, the carers have been very compassionate, patient and understanding with her care. Having to be washed and dressed in bed at the moment. They have amended her visit times to help look after her during the day. My Wife is registered blind following her severe stroke and needs a lot of patience and encouragement, My Home Care have engaged her in singing and talking about sport which she loves.
Mum has been with my homecare since May last year and all her carers look after her as though she is a family member, they show so much love and make sure she is happy and comfortable at all visits. Mum looks forward to them coming they bring so much laughter to her life and at 99 it's such a tonic for her. I can't thank them enough for all that they do. I know mum is in good caring hands always.
My brother has carers four times a day, double staff visits as he is bed bound for the last year. The Homecare team on days is mainly regular staff with some new staff training now and then too and they see to all his needs, they are friendly and help him chat as he doesn’t since his strokes and they do a great job. The tea and bedtime staff are the same all the time except for their days off, are exceptional with him have a great bond with him and always go above and beyond they are a great team. Another lady does waking nights with him has built a really good bond with him and always goes the extra mile too. Having the home care team for the past year has made a big difference and relieved a lot of stress for me. Big thank you to you all.
Although My Homecare has been recently assisting with Mum's care needs, their service has been brilliant. On the initial home visit, the senior carers explained everything in great detail, going through what Mum's requirements were and what help they could provide. They were very professional and friendly and got mum's sense of humour immediately. The care staff have a good rapport with mum and look after her very well. Their service gives me peace of mind and confidence to know that she is being well looked after throughout the day. If I have a query the staff have a very warm and friendly approach and what is a new experience to us, as a family, puts our minds at ease.
It's twelve months now since we changed service providers and went to My Homecare and the change has been massive. I won't say we haven't had any issues, but when we have they have been resolved and the staff have been really good overall. But for the odd issue, I would have given it five stars. Not only have the team helped mum who is the service user, but me too. I am the main carer and they went out of their way to have my help increased after I broke my wrist recently. The carers are very friendly and mum is happy which is the main thing for me.
The management and all the staff at My Homecare Warrington & Salford are brilliant, can't praise them enough - so willing to do anything to help, they are amazing with my husband whose behaviour due to his condition can be challenging and offering emotional support and hugs to me too. Always asking if I need help with anything, I couldn't manage without them. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
Finding a care package for my aunt seemed a daunting task until I contacted the manager and her team. After our first meeting, we felt listened to and confident about it all. Their communication is exemplary. All the staff are committed, they give her the best care, ensuring her comfort and well-being is paramount. They are all competent, skilled, understanding, patient and very kind. They go above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone who is considering home care. They are an excellent company to work with and the staff are lovely.
