View Full Details of SureCare (Tameside & Oldham)We found SureCare to be an amazing care company. All the way from management to the care staff attending. We were always kept up to date with any updates to the service they provided. The care staff were really good to my mum, their attention to detail and care was 100%. Whenever there was an emergency etc, the management accommodated us with options that suited the family. We would recommend SureCare as a caring company with understanding staff and management.
Surecare were excellent. Providing professional care for over 12 months to our dear friend until his passing on 30th September 2024. Prompt, thorough and attentive at all times. Our friend had suffered a stroke in 2018 and moved back to the Tameside area from Halifax. Our friend subsequently had mobility problems but using his walker could walk a little, speech problems ensued and incontinence at times. Our friend looked forward to the carers calling to attend to him. Compassionate. Thorough and sensitive to our friends needs Surecare Staff were so very caring and any concerns would be addressed and dealt with immediately always in a professional manner. I would certainly highly recommend Surecare.
Mum enjoys going out and spending time with her carer. She finds her comfortable to talk to and says she listens to her. The carer also makes Mum feel independent. The team keeps us up to date with regular reports of when Mum has spent time with her carer.
I am satisfied in general with the care staff. I am not happy going to bed at 9 o'clock and getting up at 10 am. Care staff in general are helpful and considerate and encourage me to exercise the best I can when they have time. My biggest problem is having to use the commode and being asked if I have finished yet. There isn't always enough time but I do my best, it is embarrassing.
The staff are friendly and helpful they attend to all the needs, they take time to sit and talk to the service user. They help with feeding meals, dressing and undressing, assist with showering and if it's nice outside they take her for a walk.
From my first phone call with SureCare, it was a positive experience. They listened to the needs and did their best to accommodate them. The agency worked hard to ensure Mum had limited carers as this was an issue previously as she did not like multiple people. SureCare provided the same carers with a clear schedule so Mum could build a relationship with them and have a set routine, which was so important. The set/regular carers were really friendly, personable, considerate as well as professional. They treated Mum like a member of their own family and were confidential and built a good rapport. They kept boundaries but also offered friendship, they actually cared. The office staff were also helpful and quick to reply and respond to any issues quickly and efficiently. I would recommend them.
SureCare were recommended to our family by our local Council's Adult Services. Their team of carers have been supporting our mother in her own home now for several months making three visits per day, Monday to Friday, providing help with administering medications, meal preparation and importantly regular social interaction. There was an initial domestic visit to assess the living accommodation and gather both personal and organisational information, plus we sought reassurance of their knowledge and experience in our community. Communication between ourselves and the team coordinator has been very good via both phone and email, ranging from questions regarding medication, changes to schedules and specific family requests. We have found their staff to be prompt, diligent and friendly which has been particularly important to us considering our mother's recent dementia diagnosis. We look forward to their continuing and caring support.
All staff were very experienced in giving the the care needs required to my mother and were always very polite and felt confident they genuinely cared and took pride in the job they did. It also gave the family confidence that she was being well looked after when we could not be present. Thank you to your team.
Overall care package was good. Provided good cover for my mother who was diagnosed with vascular dementia. Covered every need that they asked to cover and went above in some areas of patient needs. Excellent communication with myself.
The service provided was quite good. My mother being an ex-doctor, had quite exacting requirements regarding her care. At first, there were some points of irritation between her and the carers, but it helped that written guidance was provided explaining how she preferred her personal care. Once she realised that they were following what she wanted, and got familiar with regular carers she settled well. Her irritation could be explained due to her longstanding high levels of pain, and having been a very experienced health professional, she always regarded herself as the best person to treat herself. In the end, it was the advice of the carers that she could not be helped by them that led to her final hospitalisation.
The care staff are very good. Language barriers are sometimes a problem. Mum is deaf- if the carers could speak slower and louder, this would help. Also, there have been issues with the key safe number not being given out. Maybe if this is given out before coming, it would help. Overall, the care has been good.
The care my mum had was peace of mind for our family, they came four times a day and always had my mum's best interests at heart. Can’t fault them. They run a good service, from giving Mum her medication to helping her out with food if required.
Punctual and experienced service. Friendly behaviour of administration and staff. All the staff behave gently and very professionally. My wife feels very comfortable with the staff. Strongly recommended.
It was a pleasure dealing with all members of the SureCare team. From the initial assessment to the visits, the team were thorough, respectful and very attentive to Dad’s needs while he got back on his feet and recovered from a major medical event. Provided much-needed support for the family too and would not hesitate to use it again.
SureCare was great in caring for my dad between July and October 2022, ensuring he had the best quality of life and ability to remain in his home rather than moving to care homes etc. The management team were great and always available to talk through any questions and issues to come to quick conclusions.
Absolutely no complaints. Staff are lovely, alwats find time to talk to my husband Always ask if anything else needs to be done before leaving. Very satisfied with the care company.
Overall, the experience is good; the carers work very hard to look after my dad and carter for his needs. I live 30 miles away from him, so it's good to know he is in good hands. I get updates when needed and feel that my opinions or concerns are acknowledged and actioned. The carers are helpful in terms of his medical care and always update me on his needs, and recently, questioned some new meds that I was able to clarify with doctors.
All staff and care workers were excellent and outstanding in their duties of care. Always provided great care for our mum. all the staff were diligent with timings and there on time, which always gave us peace of mind, and if there was ever a time when this wasn’t the case, we would be informed promptly. The care provided was brilliant, and our mum knew most of the caregivers, and slowly, but surely, if there was a new member visiting mum, they would always try and patiently accommodate her needs, and even with the language barrier, every effort was made to try and ease the communication. The staff went above and beyond on occasions with us to try and make everything for our mum comfortable and manageable.
Wonderful service. Myself and my uncle would be lost without SureCare services. He can stay happily at home with the help of SureCare giving him his medications every day. Thanks to all the staff and careers.
My dad is very happy with SureCare and is happy to continue with them. They stay much, much longer than the previous company and actually talk to him, make him food and help with other things around the house. Thank you.
