View Full Details of Royal Care ThanetI have only praise for Royal Care Thanet. They made everything seem effortless and no trouble. The three young ladies who came to care for Mum were all so caring, thoughtful, and professional. We could not have asked for more. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I have been a service user since February 2024 to date without complaint. All the ladies look after me very well and I look forward to seeing them every day. I have good days, bad days and in-between days and the ladies take my needs into account to ensure I am comfortable and catered for. We do a lot of laughing when they are here. They work hard, are diligent, always polite and sympathetic to my health issues and needs at all times.
It's been a few months since we've had Royal Care. Your staff are so kind, thorough, happy and professional. They are clean too. We couldn't ask for more from them. Thanks to them my father welcomes their visits.
I was transferred to Royal Care the end of December 2022 as another agency was unable to provide care level the council wanted. Since then, I have seen twenty-nine carers in fourteen and a half months. In dealing with clients, mostly women who (legally) refuse male carer, no problem as such with Royal Care employing staff from an Indian state but some are unfamiliar with UK national food, gas hob, frying pan etc. Phoned a cookery tutor but she has retired. All should know how to use key safe. As a former manager, I refuse to say who is number one etc.
As soon as the company was contracted for service the management team visited the house and fully debriefed the family to understand every detail of Mum's care needs. Thereafter, the carers attending to Mum's needs were always punctual, personable, polite, respectful and totally professional, engaging Mum in conversation throughout their visits and exhibiting compassion and kindness. Carers engaged in conversation with family during ad hoc visits, providing care and welfare updates in a very professional and compassionate manner. The visit reports viewable on the App also allowed the family to monitor in detail the care provided at each visit and Mum's developing health needs. Communication with the office management team via phone or email was always responded to promptly and requests were actioned as appropriate. Overall the service provided by this company has been excellent and I would highly recommend it.
The Royal carers have been attentive, cheerful and competent.
The staff are good and thoughtful, understanding. Always clean and tidy looking and polite. Very friendly and helpful.
Wonderful staff - always smiling and happy, giving great care to my husband. Management always available and ready to help. I have not filed in value for money as the cost of this care causes us great stress - two visits a day for ten to fifteen minutes a time instead of four visits a day cost £22 less!
I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Royal Care, and I feel compelled to share my negative review to warn others about the kind of service they provide. My encounter with this company was nothing short of a nightmare. 1. Incompetent Staff: The caregivers sent by Royal Care were completely incompetent. They lacked the basic skills and knowledge required to take care of my loved one. It was evident that they had received minimal training if any at all. This led to constant errors and even put the health of my family member at risk. 2. Lack of Accountability: When we raised concerns with Royal Care, they brushed them off and made excuses. There was a complete lack of accountability for their mistakes and shortcomings. It was clear that they prioritised their bottom line over the well-being of their clients. I would strongly advise anyone considering Royal Care to look elsewhere for care services.
Royal Care has been amazing. Each member of staff is friendly and takes their job seriously. I seriously cannot say enough good things about them. They have treated my grandmother with care and dignity and she always looks forward to them coming round.
The care team from Royal Care Thanet recently look after my terminally ill elderly mother. She was fast-tracked home from hospital and from day 1 they treated her with dignity. My mum rapidly deteriorated and we only had her with us for 10 days before she passed away. Her needs changed and the team assessed this. They spoke to my mum and made her smile, holding her hand lovingly. Gently washed her. Gave her water, then when she couldn’t swallow swabbed her mouth. They are a wonderful team of careers I couldn’t fault them. I got to know most of them by name and each and every one of them were fantastic. I don’t think it’s a job for any of them, it’s a vocation. Thank you very much all of you. I will never forget your kindness to my mum and also to us.
My dad had Royal Care Thanet attending to him in the last weeks of his life. The care staff were always respectful of his wishes which varied from visit to visit. Staff also visited my parent's home and was very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. Having the support from the staff and the whole team allowed my dad to die at home where he wished to be. As a family, we are very grateful that my dad’s last wishes were granted and for the support shown to my dad, but also to my mum during this period.
As a close neighbour of a very vulnerable old gentleman, I am so impressed by the speed of action of the leader of Royal Care, Thanet. She has gone out of her way to look after the rapidly changing care needs of this frail, elderly, recently bereaved man. She has mobilised essential services in the community to meet his needs, and I am very grateful for her timely interventions. We are working as a team to help my neighbour, and all the care staff are so helpful and responsive. I cannot recommend the Royal Care Thanet group enough.
