1. The free initial care from the local council was far more professional. 2. New carers seem to have a basic lack of training. 3. Most of the carers seem to have little common sense. 4. Carers are supposed to ask if paracetamol is required on each visit but often this is not done. 5. One carer stands out compared with the others as doing a good job.
The ladies that attend my mother have been very caring, treated my mother with the utmost dignity, and at times gone out of their way to see my mother's needs are attended to. Key 2 Care staff have been very supportive of me and I feel I can express any concerns I have (that the carers are unaware of) that they will do their best to address the issue. I can strongly recommend to anyone who is in need of care, Key 2 Care.
All carers pleasant and helpful, any problems we are notified by telephone eg late arrival. Do not mind if carer time is early or late, this helps both us and them.
From May this was my and my mother's first experience of care in the home. All staff were very friendly and helpful and my mother appreciated the help and care she is receiving. All staff involved were very caring respectful and available on the phone. I am very pleased with the service we are getting and will probably have to increase the number of visits in the future. Generally, the care has been good to excellent for most of the carers we have had. The times do vary though depending on the carer and sometimes we have had agency staff cover without any prior notice. I notice many carers have to spend a lot of time completing the mobile app (slow).
My mother is cared for on two occasions per day, the carers are all polite, respectful, and always have a bit of fun with mum. I too am happy by the way that Key 2 Care address any issues that we have come across. Thank you to all staff, you are very valuable to us.
