View Full Details of Platinum Healthcare ServicesOverall I was very happy with the care given to Mum. Carers knew Mum well enough to alert myself or appropriate health care professionals when concerned about her health and well-being which was very reassuring.
When I realised I needed some help at home whilst my wife had a well-earned holiday after caring for me for a long time and I was not in a fit state to join her I was lucky enough to find Platinum Healthcare which enabled her trip to go ahead. We had a meeting the next day to set up the care and within a very short space of time, I was being cared for and in very good hands. I had excellent personal care, help around the home, shopping, and other trips out and they even managed to walk my dog which was a great relief to me. My carer was very knowledgeable and confident and became a good companion. I would class the care as outstanding and would definitely call on their services again in the future.
I have been very pleased with the care that my husband has had. They are very kind and understanding with my husband repeating himself dozens of times also because of his deafness and blindness he can get irritable but they really are very kind. There is only one query I would like to know if my account us up to date and I have asked several times. I try to keep on top of all invoices.
In general everything has gone reasonably well. The client requested only male carers to do the showing. However, a lady turned up without notification from the management! Hopefully this won't happen again. The client is very happy with the two male carers that visit him on a regular basis, and he would like this to continue going forward. We have noticed over a period of time that no one is answering the phone anymore. We were given the office number and an out of hours mobile number to call in emergencies. Unfortunately, no one has picked up and it goes to answer machine which is both annoying and not practical! The business is run completely on-line, which seems to suit the management, but their clients are mainly older and retired who may not be computer literate which has been a problem for us at times. Two ladies from the management came to my home when I signed up. But I haven't seen them since. The caring has been very good and we hope that this will continue.
Due to the nature of my condition, routine daily care can cause extreme pain. Some carers seem better at avoiding causing me pain than others.
I rang Platinum Healthcare to help my Dad who has Parkinson's. They have been amazing with him and understanding about his needs. They even helped set up medication reminders on his watch and phone which I didn't know was even a thing. They always treat him with dignity and they always make him laugh. They have made my life easier and are very helpful when I ask questions. I know myself and Dad would like to thank the whole team.
Platinum Healthcare provided exceptional service for my elderly father. The carers managed his needs with competence and a personal touch, making him feel valued and respected. He looked forward to their visits every day and genuinely enjoyed their company. The staff were extremely approachable and kept me well informed, which gave me great peace of mind. Overall, the dedication and professionalism of the team have positively impacted our lives. The carer we have on a regular live-in basis is excellent and has taken over her role in a very professional and caring manner and we would have no hesitation in recommending the services of Platinum Healthcare.
Platinum Healthcare took over from the CERT team helping my dad in the last couple of weeks. The hospice team have now taken over but I could not fault the care and compassion shown to my dad on his final journey. They were all so kind, considerate and gentle with him. A very proud man who didn’t want to be a nuisance - he loved to chat to them all when he could. Particular thanks to his wonderful carers.
Never once let my mum down by not showing up. If running late rings. Very friendly and helpful. They try to keep my mum's independence by letting her do what she can. If they are concerned about something the staff flag it up to me. We are very satisfied with the service we get from Platinum Healthcare Services and have recommended them to my mum's friends.
I have found that my sister has settled very well with her new care company and it has made her feel more confident. Thank you for your continuous support.
The care team have been providing care for my mum from 2022 right up to her passing in November 2023. My mum suffered from the effects of advanced dementia and the care my mum received was sensitive and compassionate and they extended their compassion to us as a family. We have been very impressed with the high standard of care and Platinum’s ability to accommodate our support needs and work in my mum's best interest. We just wished that we found them earlier. Platinum’s strength compared to the other care services is their hands-on ready to engage and help which runs from the top down. Their carers have been sincere and genuine. Thank you so much I don’t know what we would have done without them.
The care my husband had was outstanding. The carers were gentle and attentive to my husband's needs in his final weeks. I am extremely grateful to all of them without exception for their support to both my husband and myself.

He was taken for walks and for a coffee seeing and meeting other people. Listen to music, asked questions of the carers, and learned things about them! Thank you very much!

Platinum Healthcare have been supporting my nan who has dementia. They give respite to my auntie everyday for a few hours so that she can have a break and live her life. This was a big step for my auntie to allow people into her home and to look after my nan, but they have been fantastic and I can not praise them enough for the support they have given. Thank you so much.

Platinum Healthcare Services have been looking after my mother since 2020. They stepped into the breach to enable her to return to her flat with an appropriate care package after a hip replacement operation. This was at the beginning of the Covid pandemic when hospitals had no tests, care homes were not taking new residents without a test and the hospital needed the bed - stalemate. Platinum came to the rescue and allowed my mother who suffers from dementia to return to familiar surroundings. In addition to dementia she has no mobility since the hip replacement and has to be hoisted from bed to bathroom to chair. The care provided by Platinum is excellent and has exceeded my expectations. All the carers are friendly and professional and have built a good rapport with my mother who can be challenging at times. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
Overall, caring and compassionate. Treat the person they are giving care to, holistically. Listen to relative's concerns and try to ensure that any issues and problems are addressed with an action plan. Very approachable as a team.
I find all the staff more than helpful - if they are at all in doubt, they check straight away. They are always pleasant and clean and tidy and good timekeepers.
