View Full Details of Walfinch Harrow & BrentThe carer who cared for my mum who was ill with cancer. She was amazing she looked after our mum like she was her own grandmother. She brought joy and a smile to her face throughout the last days/weeks of her life. I cannot thank her enough. She is kind, sympathetic, generous, humble and overall extremely great at her job. I could say 1000 great words about her. Walfinch are amazing and well-organised professionals. The manager is extremely lovely and gave us the best service and carer and I thank them so much.
Excellent care team, my mother is well looked after and the carer are polite and attentive. The only minor issue we have had is when they send a new person without much notice but when I have pointed it out to them they have acted on it. It's a shame the schedule is sent so late on Sunday night. Apart from that the carer has been very good. They seem well trained and the staff are always contactable. It's been very positive for us and my mother is happy with the service and have got into a good routine. Very happy to recommend Walfinch Harrow and Brent.
Very good staff, takes care of client needs. Definitely recommend to others. I am happy with the service and helpfulness from all Walfinch staff. Staff in office are also great and very helpful. Carers must know care plan completely at all times.
They are prompt, caring and friendly. What more can I say that's what you need from a carer. They are better than any other carers I've ever had and I've had several different companies. I don't know what else to write except they are good and we need more care companies like them.
After having tried several other Brent Adult Social Care recommended providers, we came to Walfinch after they were recommended by a friend of the family. Walfinch's carers are kind and caring, supportive, calm, and are fully aware of and focused on their patient so they know how and how much to communicate. They are gentle and try to take things slowly if required, not rushing things through. My stepfather would cry and scream with the other care companies, but with Walfinch he has been calm and relaxed and even shown signs of enjoying life again. The carers have been open and comforting to the family members, too, being considerate enough to explain things. They ask questions rather than assuming or guessing. The management company call regularly to ask if we have any questions and send someone round to assess the care needs, liaising with the family before putting anything new into place.
We have been Walfinch for 9 months and in that time I cannot compliment their service provision enough. My mother (their client) suffers from Vascular Dementia and the carers have fully embraced their role and ensure she is well taken care of! They are extremely cooperative which is an invaluable bonus to working as a team! The carers are diligent; conscientious and rarely late or tardy! They are a focused, experienced, highly-qualified team that take the job seriously: a breath of fresh air! The carers do well in treating the client (my mother) as an individual and endeavour to treat her with utmost respect and communicate with her verbally and closely observe her. As a family, we highly recommend Walfinch for the reasons reiterated above and their unique problem-solving skills when necessary.
I have been with this company for nearly 2 and a half years and the service is very good. The carers are friendly, kind, caring and supportive. They arrive on time and carry out their work efficiently. Should a problem arise it is dealt with promptly, satisfactorily and in a very polite manner by management and office staff alike. I am very satisfied and have already recommended the company to others.
The care provided by Walfinch has been excellent. The carers are able to communicate with the client in their mother tongue which makes it easier for the carer and the client to meet their needs. The care agency and carers always communicate if they are running late. The carers follow the care plan and everything is left clean and tidy. Having this extra support has given us and the family the flexibility to go to work and socialize knowing that the client is looked after. I highly recommend Walfinch to other people.
Very nice company I like to thank a very helpful manager and all of the team. The carers are wonderful. Very kind and professional. Thanks to all carers.
I have been using Walfinch since March 2022 when my father had a stroke. The carers are all very professional and kind. They were a pleasure to deal with. We received the schedule of carers each week and they were always on time and stayed for the full period. They made us all feel very comfortable and looked after my dad with dignity and professionalism. I would highly recommend them.
We were very happy with all the girls, they did anything you asked. They made sure I did my exercises each day. We would recommend your services to anyone I have already told a couple of people. Thank you once again for all your help in my recovery.
I would highly recommend Walfinch, Harrow & Brent agency to anyone. I used their services when my father was coming out of the hospital. I found them to be both very professional and supportive. The managing director and her team were approachable and always willing to listen and help in any way they could. I even got some valuable advice from the staff regarding my dad's dementia issue. The company also appeared to be supporting their carer as well as listening to any of our concerns. I wanted a carer who could speak Punjabi, which is my father's mother tongue, to ease Dad back into his home environment. The staff member was a blessing. She was very caring and treated my father with the greatest of respect. When providing personal care, she did so by keeping his dignity at all times. The meals were freshly cooked and the house was always clean and tidy. Medications were administered on time throughout the day. We could trust the carer and didn’t have to prompt her to do anything. If funds were not an issue would use them again
I needed twice daily help after a major shoulder operation. The service was excellent. The ladies looked after my personal needs and helped around the house. They helped with my very important exercises. Very bright, cheerful and competent. I am sure this helped with my recovery. Punctuality was pretty good. Took me for a short walk twice a day. I would recommend this agency.
The carers are just incredible and a credit to Christies Care! We are so grateful for their professionalism, kindness and care for my mother-in-law and the rest of the family in the last few weeks of her life. Christies Care were very accommodating and helped us a great deal, having been completely new to needing care. The carers, in particular, I can’t thank enough for being such lovely, kind and caring ladies.
I'm a client of Christie’s Care and they did a wonderful job in caring for my niece in her last days. I couldn't speak more highly of them, from the management to the carers. The carers in particular.
I chose Christies Care for my mother's care as the owner of Christies was very personable in really understanding my mother's specific language, cultural and religious needs and sensitivities when appointing carers. Although this took a little time to set set up, I felt Christies were working with us as a family, we were not "just another client". We were going through a difficult time as my mother was a palliative cancer care patient. The carers were lovely and flexible to assist my mother with her personal care, preparing food and domestic help and giving moral support to both my mother and me. Unfortunately we only used Christies for approximately two weeks, as my mother's health declined rapidly and she passed away, but I'm sure we would have continued to use Christies if my mother was still with us. Thank you Christies.
The care and treatment provided by Christies Care Harrow for my mother in her final days was absolutely faultless. Although it was only for a week, the care coordinator and team were professional throughout and could not have helped care for her any more than they did. By visiting twice a day (or three or four times if we requested) they were able to help wash her and change her clothing and bedsheets and carry out the exercises we were not able to do, whilst keeping my mum as pain-free as possible. We would have been absolutely lost without the care coordinator and her team. They were able to help provide us with help and advice for what to do throughout the day/night when they were not there, and also reassure us that what we were doing was correct. We could not have wished for a better team to care for Mum during her final days which we will be eternally grateful for, and we would recommend Christies Care and especially the care coordinator and all of her team to any other family faced in a similar situation.
