View Full Details of Helping Hands Home Care (Beeston)I'm pleased to say that my care in the last three months has been extremely good. I've had help each morning and evening by several carers who have all been pleasant, very helpful and looked after my needs in an efficient and friendly way. They have all helped me to recover from my recent stroke and to get back to be able to care for myself as well as possible. I now have decided that I can manage on my own with help from family and would like to thank everyone concerned for their care and encouragement.
Helping Hands Home Care stepped in to visit my mother after the previous carers made her feel uncomfortable in her own home. They are all extremely professional, friendly and mum feels safe and secure with all her visits. They chat to mum, nothing is too much trouble for any of the carers, they go above and beyond. Love having a rota to know who's visiting for the week. Overall excellent choice we made to move to Helping Hands.
With one exception, I have been very pleased with the service I have received over the past year,. The helpers have been pleasant, helpful and willing to do anything I have asked them to do. On the downside I have twice requested that I have the same helper every week and if this is not possible then no more than three different ones. For some weeks I was having a different helper every week which was not satisfactory. The other criticism I have is that on a few occasions they have been late, once by 40 minutes. I am aware that this can be unavoidable but all I ask is for a phone call to let me know when they will be coming.
I like the professionalism of the carers, the value for money and the good timekeeping of arrivals and departures. The carer has formed a supportive bond with the client. This helps to combat loneliness in old age.
The office staff and carers of Helping Hands Home Care, Beeston have been exemplary since we started using them. The carers are friendly, helpful and show genuine care for my uncle and his needs. Nothing is too much trouble. I am not local to my uncle so it is really reassuring to know that he is in good hands. I find it so useful to log in to my computer and to read the daily records. I am always notified of any concerns. Thank you.
Although I don't often see the carers, I have found them to be caring and professional in my dealings with the office staff and the occasional phone call from a carer. An online portal allows me to read about each visit.
Helping Hands has been brilliant during the time we have been with them. Highly recommend.
Excellent care provided and also first class administration services, flexible and responsive to care needs. Highly recommended to anyone thinking about extra support in the home, to extend time at home before more intensive care is required.
The staff at Helping Hands are just brilliant. They understand Dad's needs and are continuously making suggestions to improve his quality of life. They keep me in the loop with what's going on with Dad and I trust that they have his best interests at heart. I really recommend them and know that dad is in safe hands.
Our carer has been with us for four nights, which we have found very helpful - arriving at 9 pm (to help my husband go to bed) and leaving at 7 am (when I am up and about). It has meant that I have a good night's rest - very valuable.
I have been impressed with the level of communication from the team, particularly regarding a health issue that has been affecting my father-in-law. Also, how the team makes sure he is sticking to the care plan regarding the wearing of clean clothes.
Helping Hands Home Care have been supporting my mum for approximately six months now. I feel reassured about their care. My mum feels looked after, and the carers either contact me with any concerns or the GP practice if Mum appears unwell. I recently went away on holiday, and although my sister overall was in charge of matters, I feel confident that my mum was being looked after by caring individuals. Many thanks to everyone.
I have been very pleased indeed with the service provided by Helping Hands Home Care (Beeston). The client enjoyed the carer's company. The carer always came on schedule. The administration team in the office have always been attentive to my requests, and have been sensitive and flexible.
Helping Hands, Beeston, provides carers for my dad on a daily basis. Their professional and caring approach gives me peace of mind. When they have had concerns about him, they have contacted me. They have listened to my feedback and adjusted services when needed. He has some regular carers on his rota that he reports are excellent. I am pleased to have found them and have recommended them to others.
We wanted to add extra care for our mum in the evening as soon as possible - she already has help first thing in the morning. The office took the details of the care required and promised to look at the rotas to try and help. They did this within a very short time, and extra help begins next week. Very satisfied with the help given by the office and also the care given to Mum.
I used Helping Hands for some respite care during the summer for my mother who has dementia. I was very impressed by the professionalism throughout and how they strive to tailor care needs to suit the individual needs of the client. A manager did a home visit. I had let her know my mother was a bit resistant to getting in help while I was away. She put both me and my mother at ease. In the end, my mother was very pleased with the carers who came and felt comfortable with the experience. I would recommend and will use in the future.
We haven't been having our care for long but it has been 100% up to now. The girls are so helpful and kind to my mum and dad. My mum has accepted the carer as part of the family with no complaints which is very hard to achieve with my mum, and myself and my dad have been more relaxed and happy. They've been so wonderful.
