View Full Details of Civility CareMy experience was very pleasant. The young people who looked after me were helpful, eager to do their best and ready to learn. They were flexible and prepared to change the menus they had thought of if I asked them to do so. All in all, a happy relationship developed with all who come to see me.
I have been greatly impressed by the gentle professional help I have received. The visitors have been charming and so obliging, nothing is too much trouble and the variety of tasks they have helped with has made my condition considerably more manageable. The empathy and understanding have been exemplary. Thank you.
My mother is eighty-seven years old, and suffers from vascular dementia. Her condition does not always make her the easiest person to deal with. I have found that my mother's nutrition has improved since she has been attended by Civility Care. She has developed a relationship with her carers, sometimes humorous, which makes her regular routine less irksome for her. Care workers try to communicate with her, and see to it that she eats enough each day. I have found Civility Care staff to demonstrate a higher degree of professionalism than we have encountered in the past.
I always hoped I would never have to experience having care for my parents. But after dad was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia at the good old age of 97. He is no longer able to look after himself and mum properly. We searched for private care as we wanted someone every day at the same time having a routine for dad. We are so glad we found this company. She came to see us as a family... we talked and agreed for her to come and look after dad. She was very understanding and came across very professional and caring. A few weeks later and she has never let us down. Same time every day... helping dad get up and ready for the day. Showering with keeping his dignity. Doing his meds and breakfast. Always makes sure mum is OK too. She has taken on another carer starting this week to cover days off. It's early days and I haven't met this lady but mum and dad like her but I can't comment on this at the moment. Thank you to your team for looking after dad.
