View Full Details of Honeysuckle Home CareMy Mum and I had been caring for my Dad in his final months when our palliative nurse recommended Honeysuckle. They were incredibly professional and helped us create a care plan that eased our worries. From the start, the staff were both professional and compassionate. They cared for Dad with tenderness, and their kindness to my Mum was invaluable. They made Dad feel comfortable during their visits and their friendly jokes kept him at ease. The palliative care provided by a staff member and her team was exceptional. In the final hours of Dad's life, the staff member asked if we'd like to give him a shave. This simple gesture meant so much to us, leaving Dad looking fresh and clean. It was also incredibly touching when the team came to pay their respects at Dad's funeral and gave Mum and I a big hug. Honeysuckle came into our lives during one of the toughest times, and we can't thank them enough. Their kindness, professionalism, and support made a world of difference, and we'll forever be grateful.
They are all, without exception, simply exceptional carers for my mother . They work hard and always give her the time she needs and often go the extra mile without being asked to. What makes this particularly noteworthy is that she is not always the easiest person to care for. Could not recommend highly enough.
We appreciate the flexibility provided in often challenging situations, and find Honeysuckle accommodating to Mum's needs. The carers are lovely and care for both Mum and immediate family too, which is comforting. I would definitely recommend Honeysuckle to anyone needing part or full-time care.
The carers had looked after my mum for some time and at the beginning , probably wasn't the easiest person to take care of , as she was a bit of a character , but as time went on I know she began to see them as close friends and would share some humour . When my mum became seriously ill , they looked after her tremendously, caring for her and giving her - her dignity . They went above and beyond in the care given to my mum and even coming around to the house after my mum had passed , to see her and make her respectable . I know that my dad and the rest of the family feel the Same way and can't thank them enough.
I was very grateful for the care I received. It was only for a short time to help me back on my feet. All of the carers were friendly and always asked if I needed anything else before they left. The office staff were polite and friendly and I would definitely use them again should I need to.
Wonderful service! Feel comfortable and reassured that my parent in laws are fully cared for. There is good communication from the carers and office stepping in if needed. my parent in laws are very happy and so are we!
As a family, we first used Honeysuckle Home Care to help us look after our Sister, who had a terminal illness. Not only did they meet our expectations, they surpassed them, when, on her final day, they went over and above, what they needed to do. Now this year, when realising that we needed help in looking after our Mum, there was no need to look around. We knew who we wanted and within a week of meeting with them, to discuss our requirements, they were caring for Mum. The fact that Mum, previously a very independent lady, has continued to accept them into her home (6 weeks now and ongoing, indefinitely ) and enjoys their company, speaks volumes for this local business and its employees. We feel so lucky to have them, here in Wootton Bassett.
Honeysuckle have been and continue to be of great value to my mum, she wouldn't be able to live in her own home without the support of Honeysuckle. All the carers are very kind, caring and helpful to mums needs. As a family we totally appreciate their service 100% and thank them for everything they do.
My wife as been looked after by Honeysuckle and we are both really pleased with their service. We feel all of the Carers who have cared for my wife, from the owner to the newest recruit, they all show a deep and honest liking for my wife. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are all happy and cheerful when they visit, even when she was briefly diagnosed "end of life". They were very concerned and spent a long time with, me in particular, answering our questions. The owner and senior management of Honeysuckle made time to visit my wife to ensure she was getting the right care. Both of us have nothing but praise for Honeysuckle and their carers and hope they will always be with us.
Honeysuckle Home Care have cared for my friend for over a year. They support her with several calls a day, shopping and external trips. My friend would struggle with out the help of her care team and would most likely need to leave her home and go into a residential care home if it wasn't for her fabulous carers. We are so grateful to everyone who comes to visit her.
All the carers are very kind and helpful. Also, the office staff are very considerate and helpful.
The carers come in ask how I'm doing and have a little chat then ask me, what do I want a wash or shower, I have a shower every other day and carers are ok with this. The staff in the office are very polite and friendly and if I have any problems I know I can ring the office and it will be sorted.
I have been very impressed by the professionalism, guidance and time taken in setting up an appropriate care package for my father. Honeysuckle Care have also been flexible in their approach in a changing situation. The carers have been thorough, consistent and cheerful in carrying out tasks as agreed in the plan. It is extremely useful, from my point of view, to be able to access the carer reports in the portal. I have no hesitation in recommending Honeysuckle Care.
Carers are mostly very good, but care coordinators are very poor and let carers down, the last 4 weeks we have had 30 carers 6 of which visited only once, also times and carers on our timesheet are altered without notification and frequently our timetables do not match that of the carers.
All of the staff at Honeysuckle Home Care have genuine care for the person they are looking after. They go above and beyond to ensure that the person is safe and work with the local authorities to ensure the appropriate level of care is in place. They even supported me at what is a very stressful and emotional time when looking after an elderly parent with dementia. I cannot thank them enough for everything they did for Mum whilst under their care.
Very efficient, prompt, caring and friednly.
Always very helpful when contacting the office by phone, especially sorting out changes in medication and timings of carers. Regular carers have a good understanding of my mother's needs as after a stroke she has limited mobility and speech.
My mother-in-law needed carers to come in twice a day when she was discharged from hospital. Firstly, we were very impressed with the assessment that was done before the care started. Absolutely everything was covered and we were offered some very useful advice on her care. All the carers that have come out have been friendly, helpful and professional. They are also very happy to support her independence. My mother-in-law is always asked what she would like them to do and then they also support her while she does things independently. We would like to thank all staff for their care and support.
The carers are compassionate and efficient in what they do. They are polite and cheerful and put David and myself at ease. They have provided useful information where appropriate and noticed things that I have not. The timings of the visits have been my main concern but my approaches have been listened to and where possible have been addressed within the confines of the system.
We can't praise the carers enough. Nothing is too much trouble and they are always willing to help out. They are all different yet all the same in understanding and caring. I honestly don't think we could manage without them. Thank you.
