The staff care for my mum and have been doing so for the last year. Kind, considerate, bubbly and always goes above and beyond. If we have any concerns we email the registered manager and always get a quick response. Keep up the great work.
Mum's carers are so patient and understanding of her mixed dementia and often difficult behaviour and manage to keep her safe and as happy as possible. She adores being taken out and her carers are just the best at keeping this regular for Mum. They go to great lengths to ensure Mum is as calm as she can be. They are all vital to us and we are extremely grateful.
As an elderly couple with a variety of mobility issues. My partner and I have been using Home Instead since August 2022. The care we have received has always been of really high quality, and we have enjoyed interacting with a variety of caregivers who, after attending to the important tasks, such as controlling medicines etc etc, ironing and light housework, have been happy to chat with us about their and our lives, putting the world to rights. However, last September when unexpectedly I found my partner lying dead, the Home Instead carer arrived at a critical moment, took over the situation, making sure that everything that could be done was done, and meantime I was taken care of. I have been so lucky to have already been using Home Instead, as their service has continued smoothly and enabled me to go on living at home.
All the carers were punctual, friendly, discreet, and helpful, very often anticipating my needs. They made me feel comfortable and reassured in their presence. They were willing to do any service I asked of them.
We are so impressed with the standard of care my mother is receiving. My mother feels at ease and is well looked after both with personal care and generally managing around the house. Thank you to all the team.
Since our carer started to help us in October 2022 for one three-hour session per week, he has proved to be friendly, reliable and competent. He is an excellent companion with a cheerful approach, and I cannot think of anyone better to be my carer.
Home Instead has covered the care needs for my father since leaving the hospital. I feel he is being cared for in the best possible way, by excellent and experienced carers. It has been a good experience for all involved.
Mother has three hours of care a day. We particularly like that mother has a main carer with two back up. This works well as mother has a touch of dementia and likes routine. Her carer is very kind and understanding. She's established a good relationship with mother and mother chats with her. The flat is also looking good under her care.
The manager, who dealt with all the arrangements, came out to see us quickly. He was kind and polite and involved my dad in the decision making. He had lots of ideas that we hadn't thought of and had a solution for any problem or requirement.
People attending my mother are very timely and friendly - excellent. I appreciate it is early days but I have reasonable confidence that the administration will improve. There have been a couple of gaps in the service but the communication to cover these in another way was timely so no issues were experienced. I have yet to get the app working and I would have thought that I should have received some billing details by now.
