View Full Details of Serene HealthcareDad has had carers from Serene for nearly a year. Dad had requested male carers if possible and each and every young man who has come and lived with Dad has been exemplary. Polite, considerate and always having a watchful eye on dad to keep him safe. Can’t say enough to praise them - they all become friends to Dad - and even in his most irritable moods they always stay so positive and keep smiling. Thank you each and every one.
I would fully recommend Serene Healthcare Group they were helpful and gave me lots of advice and the carers go above and beyond. I am so grateful that my Dad was able to stay in his home, a definite 5-star service.
Serene Healthcare Group provided a live-in carer and additional night watch carers for my Mum in the 2 weeks before she died. All of the girls were well-trained and very professional. They kept full records of how Mum was and the medication she received during their visit. In particular, the live-in carer was a wonderful girl who looked after Mum with real kindness. We felt a huge relief that she was there when we weren’t able to be with Mum.
We have been using this agency for several months now, initially as a sitting service but now for personal care. The carers are kind and respectful towards both my mother and myself. They are well trained and competent. If I have needed to raise any issues with the manager (these issues related to interaction with my mother who has dementia), they have been resolved quickly. Communication is good and the manager is quick to respond to messages. Highly recommended.
Your carers were seeing my dad at his home address and for a while when he stayed at my home. They were all not only professional, but warm, compassionate and uplifting. From the second we met the manager, her team could not have done a better job. They took away any embarrassment from the awkwardness that comes from Dad being faced with being unable to clean himself, and were proactively caring, looking for any issues that may cause Dad discomfort, and putting things in place to make life easier. They chatted, asked questions and listened to his stories with good humour. They dried his tears and held his hand, showed him love, and encouraged him on bad days. I thank God for them and think whatever they earn, it’s not enough and they deserve a pay rise!
Our carer over the past few months has been wonderful. She is kind and respectful and really understands our daughter’s complex needs. Now she is training a new carer to her high standards. We are very pleased.
Flexible, caring and professional - I felt completely confident that my father was in good hands. We will soon need full-time care, and I will not hesitate to engage Serene. I particularly appreciated the very personal attention to detail and the way the team adapted to what was needed.
I recently met the director and her team when she was caring for my palliative mother-in-law. I can honestly say I have never encountered such “tailored” care. Being a nurse myself, my professional standards are high, and with my mother-in-law so poorly, we, of course, wanted the best for her. Serene not only treated her with dignity and respect but allowed her to be the lead in her care. The director was only ever a phone call away, and I truly mean this - day or night. She would offer practical advice, listen to our frustrations and give us a hug when we needed it. I can not praise Serene Care any higher. They gave us the light to see through such dark times. Absolutely brilliant.
Serene Healthcare has provided a live-in carer for my mother, who has Alzheimer's. Although the carer has only been in place for a few weeks, so far, she has shown herself to be professional, efficient, kind and caring. She has looked after my mother's personal care very well, provided good, nutritious meals, kept the house very clean and tidy and provided cheerful, patient company and reassurance when needed. My sister and I, who live some way away, can now feel confident that Mum is safe and looked after well in the comfort of her own home, which has always been her wish.
Overall experience with this home care provider is excellent - all staff, including management, have provided an excellent level of care - whilst still encouraging my mum to be as independent as she can, with assistance and support as needed.
The carers from Serene Health Care were the very, very best anyone could wish for. They were an absolute joy to have in our house! They made the last four weeks my husband had at home a very special and beautiful time! We really looked forward to every day, knowing that they would be here to support us; they really supported both of us, and we quickly became so fond of them. The laughter that rang through the house was down to these lovely people who tuned into the sense of humour my husband had! Since my husband died, I have had lots of visits from these wonderful people and just want everyone to know that they are the very best! Very, very special people!
