Restcare was a supportive, kind and knowledgeable team of carers looking
after our 93-year-old 'Nan' after a fall. Restcare assured us that any
care was possible. We chose full-time care. They washed/showered her,
gave her medication, and met all her day/night needs. They prepared food
and drinks and cleaned her flat. Most importantly, they got her mobile,
meeting her friends and making tea for all. They also took her to
church. Restcare would organise and liaise with the GP if medications
were needed or if district nurses were required. Before Nan passed, an
amazing carer went with her to hospital, and waited until we could
arrive. As a retired nurse, I was so impressed by the carers who looked
after Nan and the whole setup. We had the comfort and knowledge of
knowing Nan was never alone and could live in her own flat, enjoying
eating, socialising, and mobilising. We had access to a daily record of
Nan's care, from what she ate to her daily activities. We highly
recommend Restcare.
