View Full Details of Mettle & Bond Care LtdInitially we required a carer for my wife who had bladder cancer. The carer assigned had considerable experience of similar cases and was able to reassure my wife and provide excellent care. As the situation developed, the carer also provided support for me as I tried to cope with all the household chores. After my wife moved into a care home for palliative care, the carer has continued to help me run the house. The carer assigned to us is wonderful in every way. She has a beautiful disposition combining a strong work ethic with a charming personality and a keen sense of humour. Our entire family has fallen completely in love with her. She has helped us all get through a very harrowing experience.
We have a live-in carer for my mother. It took a while to find the perfect match but now she has 2 girls that look after her and take turns over a 2 week period. Overall, it is a good company for us, now we are established and my mother is very happy and settled with her care so I can't complain.
I have found the nurse assigned to my husband's care absolutely excellent. She has looked after him with great respect for his dignity and with great care.
So clean! Special thanks to a staff member (you know who you are).
All staff are polite, respectful and caring. Some issues with time of arrival because of hold-ups with previous clients and/or transport problems - understandable. Management do listen if you have concerns.
The girls are clean and tidy in their appearance. They come on time and if delayed they phone in advance. They are very pleasant to talk to and they have a good sense of humour. We enjoy their company.
I was very happy to have him as my carer, he was caring and considerate and assessed my needs together. He was cheerful when greeting me/us and through my care. He was always smartly dressed and freshly presented. He was only with us for 8 days. We learnt a lot about how to manage and felt more secure to manage without a carer.
I simply cannot thank the carers, management and how they care for my father enough. They treat him with total respect and after one and a half months, since they started have basically taken the pressure of looking after him off my hands. Obviously, it's expensive but some of the things they have had to deal with isn't something a son should ever have to do. If anybody is sitting there not knowing who to choose - that was me! Give them a call, they are lovely.
My carer has been very punctual, well organised and positive. Her attention to detail has been excellent and her ability to cope with any circumstance is 100%. She has presented every meal in an attractive and appetising way.
We are very happy with Mettle & Bond. All the staff work very hard and do a wonderful job. My mum is very happy with the company.
I can't speak highly enough of Mettle & Bond. The initial meeting and assessment of Mum's needs took place quickly and was carried out by one of the directors. She made sure to direct her comments and questions to Mum to include her in the conversation. Frequent reference was made to CQC requirements. Care was arranged quickly and every effort was made to match Mum to carers with whom they thought she would get on well. Care visits for the first week were undertaken by one of the directors so that they could get to know Mum and then hand over to employees who shadowed them after this period. My siblings and I were set up on an app so that we could see how each visit had gone and see comments by the carers. Any concerns from either the family or the carers were addressed promptly and efficiently by phone or email. Mum's evening visits were often undertaken by one of the directors. Would absolutely recommend.
Mettle & Bond were very efficient in setting up the caring needs for my mother at short notice following an assessment meeting. All the visits were on time and all the carers were lovely: kind, caring, considerate and dedicated. My mother quickly became used to them visiting, despite her initial reluctance to surrender her independence. The access care planning app gave me peace of mind that she was being well looked after and was eating properly, as well as having all her daily medication dispensed as required. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mettle & Bond to anyone with home care/support needs.
My carer is a charming man. He is very efficient, conscientious and ideal for this job. It is a pleasure to see him each morning.
Mettle & Bond responded very swiftly to my initial enquiry. An assessment meeting quickly followed and inspired confidence that they would take on the tasks with enthusiasm.
Mettle & Bond Care Ltd are excellebt in the care and attention I receive, i.e. showering and cooking my lunch. The carers are efficient, happy and always on time.
From my initial conversation with Mettle & Bond Care, I immediately felt comfortable discussing our family's requirements with regard to putting home support in place for our mum-in-law/mum. We arranged a visit to Mum's apartment to discuss our needs, we found the director and her colleague very engaging, particularly with our 94 years young Mum, their professionalism was unquestionable and more importantly for us the obvious dedication to their profession within the care industry along with their history of working in this industry. Mum has taken to her support carers like a duck to water, in her words: "Friendly, adaptable, efficient and business-like ". I feel fortunate that we found Mettle & Bond. A happy Mum is a happy family!
We received a very efficient and caring service from the initial enquiry to an assessment to daily service calls for my 102-year-old dad. Their attention to detail makes for a good experience for the family.
