View Full Details of Passion Home Care HuddersfieldPassion Home Care supported my dad from July 2024 until September 2024. This was a very stressful time for my dad and me and Passion Home Care was very kind, supportive, and accommodating to my dad's ever-changing care needs. They were very supportive and understanding with regard to care, and time changing due to medical appointments. The staff was regularly updated about my dad's care needs from their manager and I had access all the time to my dad's daily rota and log notes.
To date, the care provided has been great. The carers have been kind, compassionate and patient. We had one occasion when the house key was not left in the safe which caused a problem. This has been recorded and hopefully, it won't happen again. The management has been very helpful, efficient and communication has been great. Thank you!
Trying to find the correct support for our mother/grandma has proven difficult; we have had extemely negative experiences with NHS carers leading to a total distrust of professionals. However, the support that has been implemented from Passion Home Care has been outstanding. The entire team have ensured that our family member has been cared for with the utmost of dignity, respect and kindness. Communication with the team has consistently been clear, direct and rapid. The team and management have also been very inclusive, taking into account the needs of the immediate family members who also live in the house. The team have really gone above and beyond, showing so much empathy, compassion and genuine care towards the entire family - we cannot thank you enough for everything that you do.
I contacted Passion for Care when mum needed the support of double-up carers. From the very beginning, I felt listened to and supported throughout the whole process of getting the right care for mum. Passion for Care are committed to putting the correct care in place and are happy to change things if it’s not working for mum. They wanted to know all about mum, her personality, likes/dislikes as well as her care needs. They have kept me informed throughout and we have discussed any changes that are required. The carers who come to mums are always polite, respectful and above all caring. They take things at mum's pace and make sure she is comfortable and has everything she needs when they leave.
After being extremely nervous and apprehensive to step down from my full-time care role for my mother and handing care over to a care company, I could not have wished for a smoother transition than the amazing staff at Passion. My mum loves all the ladies who do her care visits and I can tell she has felt comfortable and safe with them from the offset. They treat her with dignity and respect and they communicate with us about her care and her needs. Management contacts me regularly to check things are ok and answers any questions or queries I have. I would and have recommended Passion to anyone looking for care for themselves or a loved one.
Overall the care is good for my mum, however the family have to prompt the carers regularly regarding items such as: Clothing when cold add more layers. Clothing when hot to remove layers. How to position her in bed. Not to leave the home unlocked.
The carers came four times a day to look after my mother-in-law after being discharged from the hospital following a fall. I cannot fault this care provider at all. The love, care, respect and dignity my mother-in-law was given by these truly wonderful ladies was genuine. They were always happy, friendly and kind. Any concerns and questions were answered by them promptly, and nothing was ever too much trouble. We came to look at these carers as a part of our family. Their daily interactions with my mother-in-law were heartwarming, and she would be thrilled to see them. On days when she felt very unwell and depressed, they understood this and were caring and compassionate. Their core values are what makes this care provider 10 out of 10. We will always be grateful to them for helping us during such a challenging time as a family.
Thank you Passion Home Care for looking after my mum (and more recently also her dog) following her stroke last year. I appreciate the care you have taken over encouraging her to do the physio prescribed exercises which improved her ankles and mobility. You have all done your jobs well, efficiently and with compassion, contacted me with queries and taken my calls as needed and I have no complaints.
Brilliant service from lovely caring people, always happy and very efficient! I enjoy the time spent with all of the carers! I was unhappy about having carers at first but very soon I warmed to them because of how warm and friendly they are. Also, they are fabulous with my dog.
The staff that come to see to my brother are very friendly and caring. They are also very helpful by letting me know when we need more cream or things they use when they come to see him. I have spoken with my brother myself about how happy he is with the carers that come and he is also happy with them.
Highly efficient and timely care for my wife, who suffers from mixed dementia. Four times a day, she is visited, and her needs are seen to by the Passion Healthcare Team. She is always treated with respect and in good humour, even though, at times, she can be difficult. True, caring attitude at all times.
The carers for my uncle do an excellent job. They make sure he's fully washed and provide him with meals, coffee and water at the side of his bed. They wash his clothes and change his bedding, and they are really nice people to get on with and talk to plus, if they notice anything he needs, they phone me to let me know. He feels comfortable with these carers as they talk to him, which is great. Thank you.
My dad has been receiving care from these people for a few months now. Every time they come out they don't clean his house, they put the washer on with no soap powder in, and they make my dad, who is very ill, sandwiches with no butter on. They broke his dryer which was really expensive. When I go visit my dad I have to clean up every time, even though these carers go out about 5 times daily the house is absolutely disgusting. I would never recommend using this company to care for loved ones. It seems like they just come and go as quick as they can even if my dad is left uncomfortable. After ringing the Manager today about my brother's belongings being damaged he said we can care for your dad no more because I asked them about the stuff that was always vanishing or ending up broken. Very poor.
