Like a lot of families we had struggled along, trying to care for mum and manage our own lives at the same time, until it all became too much. We were matched with a carer and it has changed everything. Mum is so well looked after, physically and emotionally, and having that peace of mind is everything. There is frequent communication between management, carer and family, so we are all kept up to date with mum's condition. I would highly recommend 1-2-1 to any friends/family who find themselves in the same situation.
We have excellent care from our live in carers from 1-2-1 Live in Care. We have found the live in carers very good at their job looking after our parents with their complex care needs. We always have known they were in safe hands. I can highly recommend 1-2-1 Live in Care

My father receives excellent care, he is treated with respect and dignity as we all are. The carer makes time to chat to him and makes sure that food is prepared to his liking... We feel supported and comfortable knowing that Dad is safe and well looked after and we can concentrate on just visiting now which is lovely. Communication is excellent and requests responded to in a timely manner. This is our first experience of live-in care and we won't be looking for anyone else now.

From the start 1-2-1 Live In Care were in constant touch. They assessed the needs of my father-in-law and also those of the family. They took into account his personality and interests, finding him the perfect match in a carer. There is a personal touch with communication and support, someone is always on hand to answer any questions or concerns. The live-in carer has been extremely kind, patient and respectful living in the family home.
From the beginning, I emphasised the need for practical day-to-day care provisions to work well, independently of my sister and I. To date, they have been proactive, efficient and transparent, whilst welcoming collaborative engagement with us to the benefit of our cousins. Timely assistance with personal matters is provided respectfully and efficiently to my relatives, whilst maintaining their dignity through engagement and consent. They are encouraged to be as independent as possible, within what is medically safe. To enrich their lives, one staff member asked for a traditional local delicacy recipe and made it for them. This demonstrated to me a real willingness to go the extra mile and give my cousins a great personalised experience. This has been further displayed over the festive period. In summary, representatives of 1-2-1 Live In Care have provided my relatives with efficient and dignified care for their personal needs, whilst proactively seeking opportunities to enrich their lives.

They were very thorough in their need analysis and communicated very well with the immediate family, other agencies, GPs etc. The ongoing standard of live-in care has been excellent.

The company ask for my requirements for a carer, with regard to personality, and technical ability regarding ordering via online shopping and my mum's needs are assessed by the company and are matched to a carer. I am informed of the carer's profile and if I am happy for the placement to go ahead. 1-2-1 Live-In Care is keen for any feedback I can give on their carers and the way they work, which is great. This gives me the opportunity to ensure I am part of any review process and this gives me confidence that my opinion matters which is important. I feel I am listened to and responded to in a timely manner, via email or phone. 1-2-1 Live In Care have emergency cover if required for any reason, so I am confident that Mum will be taken care of with a maximum timeline of one and half hours to get a carer in place.
The care my mother receives from 1-2-1 Live In care, both from the live-in carer and the head office staff, is consistently excellent. My mother's carer is now more like a best friend than a carer. She works tirelessly to ensure that Mum is well fed, has her personal cleanliness looked after, has a lovely clean and tidy house to enjoy and any medical issues are sorted out immediately. I really wouldn't want anyone else looking after Mum. As my mother has dementia as well as mobility issues, she can get confused at times and not know where she is; the carer is incredibly patient and reassuring to make sure that Mum can calm down and stop worrying. The staff at their head office are always available, helpful and cheerful. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they have helped me with problems at very little notice. I would recommend 1-2-1 Live In Care Ltd to anyone looking for 24-hour care for a loved one.
Fantastic and bespoke support provided since we came over to 1-2-1 Live In Care. Much better than any other provision we have experienced for many years. Care is tailored to my parents' needs, perfectly.
1-2-1 are organised, efficient, caring and have attention to detail. They understand the issues, whatever they are. For the record, I never use five stars as improvements can always be made. They have given me confidence in this situation of dealing with dementia. I now know my friend is protected from herself and society.
The live-in carer communicates with me if Mum is ill or needs the doctor. We discuss Mum's dementia behaviour and put our heads together about what Mum might need or want. I feel informed on a weekly/ daily basis about how Mum is. The agency manager has taken our concerns seriously and has been supportive of us, dealing with a complex family dynamic. We feel at the centre of a team caring for Mum: family, social services, the care company and the GP. The live-in carer is conscientious, kind and seems to genuinely enjoy her job. Mum is well-fed and cared for. She is receiving gold standard, one-to-one care.
