View Full Details of Pride Community HealthcarePride Community Healthcare was recommended for my mother by our hairdresser. They have been brilliant from the beginning, and are punctual, caring and flexible. The app shows me which carer was present, what they did and the time they spent. As my parents are independent but forgetful, this helps alert me to items that might need to be bought and medication that is running out. The management is excellent. Communication is prompt and helpful. I feel I can raise any issue and ask for advice. Although my father is not the client, when he collapsed recently, my mother called Pride. The manager came out immediately, called back up, called an ambulance and sorted lunch for my mother as well as pencilling in extra visits should they be needed. It is a relief that my mother has complete confidence in them. Some carers are extra special and go above and beyond what they are paid for. The agency pays a living wage to staff which I feel shows they value staff as well as clients.
I've always felt that all the staff at Pride Community Healthcare are always kind and caring. Nothing was too much to ask and always went the extra mile to help my parents. The manager and her team are so easy to chat with, they will also answer your questions you want to ask. A big thank you.
We found the staff from the care provider were punctual and helpful and ready to assist with most care requests. Our carer is worthy of mention although others came a close second. We would recommend the Pride Community Health care.
After interviewing several local service we settled with Pride Community Healthcare. Although we thought the need for care would be ad hoc initially, PCH were willing to accommodate flexibility from the off set. After the management helped support our father, out of normal service, for some rather panicked requests from him, we soon created a routine visits with PCH as realised the level of care and interest they had for our father as a new client. Over time our father grew fond of the PCH team members enjoying their support, care and often just their company. Even during hospital stays PCH were available to help with some local logistics when family were away from the area. Ease of contact and fast communication maintained our confidence in the service, which always provided such friendly and caring team members who you never felt were there to just check-in and check-out per client visit. Please look no further than PCH for any homecare needs.
Pride Community Healthcare took over my mother's care in August 2024. I have recently increased my mother's visits. All the carers are polite, respectful, caring and very professional. I have no concerns as I know my mother is in safe hands. There is an app so that family can check on times of visits and a written report on what occurred on each visit. The Manager is excellent, so helpful and always at hand. I am very happy with this service. Highly Recommend.
My mum broke her wrist on a Friday, just before Christmas; she was adamant that she wanted to stay in her own home. She refused to move in with either my sister or I on a temporary basis as she is fiercely independent. I spoke to a home care provider that was recommended to me, but I didn't feel comfortable, so I went in to Pride Community Healthcare's office and instantly felt confident with the care suggested. The manager from Pride, came round to assess my mum that day as this was an emergency and put a care plan into place immediately (which was tricky because they are really busy). The result has been wonderful - really excellent care, really kind and generous 'service', really lovely lady carers - and a happy mother - who has maintained her independence. I am so grateful to Pride - and could not recommend them highly enough; I also can't thank them enough. It's really difficult for children and parents in this situation and Pride helped navigate these difficulties with ease.
The carers have really helped us through a difficult time. They have always been helpful, supportive and professional. They have a great team and those carers we have met have all been lovely. Dealing with a loved one with dementia is never easy and the carers all treat her with respect and dignity.
Pride Community Healthcare have been brilliant at supporting not only my nan but also supporting & communicating with our family. Being the first time needing care at home, we didn't really know where to start or what to expect, but they made the process as simple & as stress-free as possible. They have tried to fit in with our schedule & preferred timings which has been really helpful. They are all very reliable & give lots of encouragement & reassurance when it is needed. It has helped to take some of the pressure off of us during the daytime, as we know all of her needs are being met. I would definitely recommend Pride to other people!
Always helpful and friendly. Understand my wife’s complex needs and try to fully meet them. Requires two carers per visit which may, at times, mean the directors have to be available. Very supportive.
Having been caring for Mum full-time since 2019, it’s been a big change for my sister and me that since Mum had a stroke in January, she’s been unable to walk. We recognized that we needed help so we approached Pride to provide some extra care and support. We felt quite nervous about having new people into the home but we needn’t have worried! We are so fortunate to have the same two ladies all the time and they have just fitted into not only our routine but also into the family, so well. Always on time, always cheerful and chatty with us all, and always lovely with Mum. And one more extra special aspect to their care - they are always so respectful to Mum and so careful to preserve her dignity when completing personal care. We are delighted to have our two special ladies!
I have nothing but praise for this team, the care provided is first class and the management has a lot of local knowledge and service knowledge. Their advice and intervention have helped me to find and get access to services to help Mum to retain her independence. Mum is delighted and reassured knowing she is in safe, caring and professional hands.
After a long period of ill health I approached care in my home for the first time with some trepidation but was delighted by the understanding and sensitive care that was given to me. The comfort and peace of mind knowing that I can call on their care at any time means a great deal to me.
Excellent in all respects.
My friend has Pride Community Care to visit, what an excellent company. Carers are very friendly and professional. They are reliable, punctual, and have a good understanding of any changing needs. Nothing is too much trouble for them and always prepared to go that extra mile. Management very friendly easily contactable and a well-managed service.
The carer Pride Community Healthcare sent to my friend was a lovely lady. Always kind and considerate. Meticulous in her care and absolutely nothing was too much trouble. She was always punctual and cheerful. Very importantly she listened to what I said. Any concerns were dealt with promptly. Would thoroughly recommend them.
Pride Community Healthcare are reliable, consistent, experienced, caring and go the extra mile to provide high quality care. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of additional care and support!
First time we have experienced carers and couldn't be more pleased. Could not ask for more. Kind, caring and treating my husband with dignity.
Lovely, kind staff and genuinely "care"! Nothing is too much trouble, but she still manages to make Mum feel "independent and confident" and cheers Mum up, and they have a good laugh together!
Pride Community Healthcare has been brilliant. I contacted them back in August and we had regular shifts set up a few weeks later! They are one of the only companies flexible enough to have calls that fit in with my commute to work.
I contacted Pride Community Healthcare as a last resort as we had been let down by the care home at the last minute as they were supposed to be supplying a member of staff to help my son in laws mother attend his and my daughter's wedding. When I messaged Pride Community Healthcare I had a very prompt response, unbeknownst to me they were on holiday and were very soon contacting carers to see if they were available. the lady, who already had personal plans cancelled them just to attend the wedding for us. She was lovely. I can not thank everyone enough. Amazing!
