View Full Details of Join HomecareI have been with my friend the whole time that she has had Join Homecare and I have found them to be absolutely brilliant with her. They are very friendly and polite and it's so nice to see her interact with them. She has changed so much over the last few months, she is eating so much better and is a lot more alert and bright. Now that there is a live-in carer she is so much more relaxed and doesn't have the worry of being on her own. She gets on so well with all her carers and they are always making her laugh. I would definitely recommend this Company to people as they have made such a difference for her, she wanted to stay in her own home, and Join Homecare has made this possible.
I was not at all satisfied with the 'care' provided by this agency. I was often left with pads unchanged - I have incontinence. I had an important hospital appt and asked to be changed at 7,00 a.m. I was told I could not be changed until my usual time of 6,00 p.m. I said I had to go to hospital and needed to be changed. The carers walked out. The ambulance could not take me as I was so wet and could have been infectious. The ambulance insisted on changing me and my bedclothes as would not leave me in such a state. I had also been left before for 24 hrs before being washed and changed, then not given my medication as was told the next client needed theirs. So my medication was deemed less important than that of others. This agency is not fit for purpose.
