We could not ask for better or more helpful carers. My husband is housebound and looks forward to them coming! They are so kind and caring, nothing is too much trouble. They are gentle and respectful with him, which is so important too. Sometimes we can have a good laugh at certain things, which helps in what is a very difficult and trying situation. They also always ask how I am, which I appreciate very much. We really could not manage without them.
I would like to take the time to thank each and every one of you for your kind, loving support at a very difficult time for my Grandma. She was sadly told she had cancer and her time with her family was limited. As a family, this was heartbreaking. Everyone who came to care for our loved ones was outstanding! Nothing was ever too much trouble. My grandma used to tell me how wonderful everyone was especially two in particular. My grandma was a strong private woman who would have hated having to be looked after but you all made it so much easier for her. You were always by our side as a family. The care delivered was always second to none. You always arrived on time and the continuity of carers made such a positive difference. My grandma fell asleep with her family around her. Thanks to the amazing care she was clean, comfortable, and at peace. As a family, we thank you words will never explain how grateful we are to have you.
My first experience with the carers and the team, they did a lot more than my expectations. They made my life a lot better and looked after my wife very professionally, with kindness and dignity. The team always had a smile on their faces, they were brilliant.
Fantastic care and support not only for Mum in her final weeks but for the whole family. Caring, professional punctual efficient staff 4 times daily we could not have asked for more. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart.
Fantastic team. 1st class care. They treated Mum with dignity, respect and respected her wishes. Always polite and courteous. We could not have asked for better support and a genuinely caring team. Thank you to them all.
First-class service. Very professional staff.
My late father was a proud and independent man, he struggled with the idea of needing help but reluctantly agreed to carers in the final weeks. From the first minute of meeting the team, we felt the warmth and caring compassion and our fear of having strangers in the house evaporated immediately, these were people who belonged in this profession. The team treated my dad with respect and empathy, helping Dad and me navigate this brutal time. The communication between them is exemplary, they were ahead of the situation every time, when you are in the last days you cannot imagine how important this is, you are exhausted, emotional and for most of us this isn’t our field of expertise, it is theirs and it shows. Watching a loved one die is an experience most of us know little about until we are faced with it, the team helped me, help Dad. I will always be indebted to them for taking care of my dad when I didn’t know how to, they allowed him to pass at home, his final wish.
In the few months that my father has been receiving care from Chriskepa we have definitely noticed a difference in his spirit and confidence. Having the nurses in his home has given him great comfort, especially as they are extremely friendly, empathetic, and professional. They show great interest in his life and go above and beyond to give help to us, his family, and share informative advice for his care.
My Mother has been receiving care from the carers at Chriskepa since May 2023. They treat her with dignity and compassion. She looks forward to their daily visits. They spend time talking to her, singing with her and making her laugh. The same small group of carers come and she has built up a relationship with them, which is great to see. She tells me they are part of the family now. The team are efficient and communication with the management is excellent.
Most of the girls are very helpful and cheerful. I am always pleased to see them. We all get on very well.
This is our first experience of anyone within our family needing care and it could not be going better. Mum's carers are wonderful with her, and us, are attentive, knowledgable, and look after her with so much dignity. They actually feel more like friends or extended family than carers. Mum's care has also taken away loads of the worry on mine and my sister's minds.
The staff we have been visited by have been fabulous at supporting not only my dad but my family too. Friendly and efficient and always smiling. Good communication, exceptionally caring and compassionate, thank you.
We had help from three staff members and they were absolutely amazing. So supportive of all my grandad's wishes and needs, brightened up his last few weeks. They were also extremely supportive of all us family members and stayed with us even when they didn't need to, to support us through his loss. They pushed for any equipment or medication he needed by pointing us in the right direction of places to call. I actually miss them all they were some of the most caring professional people I have ever met met. So much love for them.
Chriskepa is very professional and approachable, with very caring and friendly staff. They took care of my wife and understood her needs, while still maintaining a sense of humour. I will recommend the company to anyone and will definitely use them again.
It was always the same carers which meant they had a relationship with Mum and myself. They were friendly, considerate and supportive. Excellent call when the syringe driver leaked. They really looked after Mum and worked well with the district nurse team. The fact they work seven days a week shows a real dedication and I hope that they do get time off for their work/life balance. Mum could not communicate verbally but when happy with what the carers had done gave a thumbs up - I too give the carers two thumbs up.
My husband had end-of-life care at home with cancer. The carers came three times a day to care for my husband. They were lovely, so polite and looked after him lovely. My husband was a very private person but he was so friendly with the carers.
Very pleasant, very good at doing the jobs, always got a smile and very professional and kind.
When my dear, late wife was finally diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer, I was unable to cope alone but we had agreed that, if at all possible, she would remain at home and Chriskepa was appointed by the NHS to care for her. They faithfully attended four times a day and I was extremely impressed by their professional knowledge and the respect and cheerfulness they showed to my wife and myself at such a stressful time. It was very gratifying that the district nurses, who attended daily, expressed that it was a pity Chrikepa couldn't be appointed on all their cases. My family and I will always be grateful for the outstanding way they helped us cope, both mentally and physically. Thank you most sincerely.
I cannot speak highly enough of the service that the carers provided in the last days of my mother's life. They worked with compassion, tenderness, respect and the utmost professionalism. Alongside the general personal care they gave Mum, they also provided reassuring medical advice and were available to call for advice in times of stress. They also had a lovely sense of humour and would always make time to see how my dad and the rest of our family were coping. They are amazing, wonderful people and I highly recommend them to anyone needing help caring for a loved one at home.
The manager and her team provided a wonderful service when my mother was in need of care at home. I cannot fault their professionalism, warmth and friendliness at such a stressful time. Both my father and myself were extremely impressed with the care and respect they showed Mum. They were always calm and reassuring and unfailingly cheerful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend these lovely ladies to anyone needing care at home.
