View Full Details of 1 Stop HealthcareExcellent service, fantastic team with carers that care, who are kind compassionate and professional and looked after my father with respect. Regular update from management. Made sure all medications taken at the right times.
1 Stop Healthcare supported not only my mother in law but us as a family. The speed at which they were able to put services in was super. The assessment was done quickly and it was great to meet the carers beforehand. The carers themselves were fantastic, they supported her with kindness, compassion, professionalism and good humour. They built good relationships with her. She fondly referred to them as "her team". They were highly trained and well organised, which is obviously due to the support they receive from administrative staff. The entire 1 Stop team took some of the pressure off us as a family enabling us to have a relationship with her without the stress of the caring role. We will be forever grateful to them all.
My father suffers from Parkinson's disease. He hallucinates and imagines all kinds of scary situations and bad people around him. The carers sent by 1 Stop Healthcare have been perfectly matched to meet his interests and past experience. They are all lovely and very attentive, helping reduce his anxiety and help him stay focused on the task at hand. We appreciate you. Thank you!
The requirement is for 24 hour one-to-one care at home for an Alzheimer's sufferer with complex needs and challenging behaviour. The carers must have a very different approach from that considered normal in a care home, primarily an ability to observe and respond appropriately to the patient and not try to impose an impersonal regime suitable for a care home. Building mutual trust with the patient is essential. The agency has been successful in identifying suitable carers and adjusting the rotas to ensure those to whom the patient responds best are first on the list. The service depends entirely on the skills of the carers and there are no issues with the agency management who have been very supportive and responsive.
