My mum is being supported by Surrey Downs Homecare. I have been very grateful to how responsive to our needs they have been. They have been very flexible, accommodating and responsive and it has been a great help. The communication has been excellent also. The meals provided have been good quality and the staff that I have met have been friendly, patient and understanding. They have worked hard to meet my requests, sometimes at short notice. It has been very helpful and eased my stress.

I have recently set this up for my father who needed support to continue living at home. Carers come in twice a day (AM and PM) and they supply meals, do general household work and my dad enjoys their conversation and company. They have facilitated trips out to local cafes which my dad thoroughly enjoys! Both myself and my dad are very happy with the service that is being provided, carers are always happy and smiling and they really do go above and beyond. I would highly recommend Surrey Downs Homecare to anyone who is looking for that bit of extra help at home. Thank you Surrey Downs!

Surrey Downs Homecare Dorking supply a carer who attends once daily to cook lunch, clean and wash clothing and bedding, also shopping when required. The company and carer are both quick to respond to any changes that are required. The service is professional and flexible and I would be happy to recommend to anyone requiring help in their own home.

The carer for my Dad comes to his house every night to help with nighttime duties. He is very respectful, kind and compassionate as well as very capable. Anyone can do a good job but to do it with a smile and patience and care makes such a difference - to both my mum and dad. Thank you.

A particular member of staff was such an amazing help for us! He was so pleasant and by the end of it, he felt like a part of the family. Always went above and beyond to ensure my grandad was comfortable and was very patient. We loved having him around! Thank you.

I cannot fault this service from first contact, through assessment visit and care provided. Everything was easy. Management made us feel welcome and were happy to provide care. The care did an excellent job providing care and attention to detail. This is a good care provider and I would not hesitate to use them again in future. Excellent service, keep up the good work! Following a hospital stay, my mum required additional care at home to get her back on her feet again. She had always dreaded the idea of having “someone in” as she put it but the carer provided by Surrey Downs has been a delight and Mum actively looks forward to her visits. I’m sure that has helped in her recovery. I would add that the whole process of setting up care has been easy and straightforward, a great relief at what has otherwise been a very stressful time. I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending Surrey Downs to anyone requiring home care.

On my unannounced visits to my friend, I have always been warmly welcomed. My friend has always been happy and often praises the staff. I have always been offered something to drink. Every suggestion I have made to improve her day has always been listened to and implemented.

My husband has been in receipt of home care for the last five months. He is very happy with his carer, who is a very kind, caring young man. When we returned from a recent holiday, the carer was met with a beaming smile from my husband. This from a man who doesn’t smile often! They go out together twice a week and give me time to do something just for me. This week I had my hair done. I find Surrey Downs Homecare is run very professionally. I have had no problems whatsoever and would happily recommend them.

I have used SD Homecare for my elderly father who is based with us at home. I have been delighted with the care and service that they provide in helping to make sure that he is ready for his day. They are kind, considerate and efficient. The backup team is also a pleasure to work with as they ensure that we all work as a team to provide the best care for my father.

I have been very impressed and pleased with Surrey Downs Homecare and the treatment they provided for my parents. Surrey Downs was kind, caring and professional in helping my parents to continue to manage at home. They dealt well and with great patience with the unpredictable nature of caring for the elderly. I was kept informed at all times, and they have been professional and easy to deal with on all admin matters.

SD Homecare has now provided three months of care at home for my mother. We have found everyone at SD Homecare to be friendly, efficient and keen to help in any way that they can. They are receptive, listening to what is needed, and quickly reacting to provide a genuinely bespoke service both within and outside the home. Their flexibility is impressive and greatly appreciated. We particularly value the reliability of the service; the same carer at the same time every morning, which provides continuity and reassurance, and enables the vital building of trust. We would not hesitate to recommend SD Homecare to others.
