View Full Details of Brimchalk HealthcareFrom our initial meeting, I felt at ease knowing Dad would be in good hands and well looked after, we were asked what he enjoys and likes doing. Since then Dad has been out on trips to garden centers, and he has had help getting on a video call to talk to his daughter who is in Australia, when I have met them both when popping in they have been chatting away. This has made a massive difference as Dad’s memory isn’t great which means he can still do the things he enjoys with some help.
From our initial meeting, it was clear that Brimchalke Healthcare wasn't like the other individuals and Co's we had seen. They are highly professional, medically knowledgeable, organised and caring. Accommodating Dad's last year with us in our family home had been challenging because of 'carers' charging carer rates who were nothing more than home help. We are so glad we had Dad living with us for his last year now he is gone. It can be a positive, not a burden with the right carer in place. I would not have been able to forgive myself if he had remained in the supposedly excellent care home (none can replace being around family in a real home) and died there. Speak to Brimchalke, they are genuinely good.
The 2 live-in carers were such caring people. You could see that they really did care and were very professional. Nothing was ever too much hassle they completely took everything in their stride, the house had never looked as clean and cared for, such pride in their work. The care and compassion that was shown will be forever appreciated. I will never be able to thank you enough.
The nurse went beyond her duty and did a fabulous job looking after my father. Mentally and physically.
