The carers have provided consistent care over a very difficult period of time for both me and my mother. They are always so genuinely empathetic to the position we are in and take care to show up in the little ways. One of the carers even takes the initiative to come up with innovative solutions to my mother's memory loss problems and truly, they have been such a blessing in this time.
We arranged for Bluebird carers to look after our sister-in-law on a 1 hr daily basis as a companion visit and her carer has been helpful especially by checking her oxygen tank every day and leaving snacks for her lunch. The lady who comes is a very pleasant young lady and is well-liked by her clients.
The care team provide some stability to my mother, who has dementia, so this is very important to her. The carers are very conscious and caring and also have a lot of empathy, which goes a long way. The management is very accommodating always managing to work around my mother's needs they are also very informative keeping me up to date on any changes.
All the staff are lovely. Very professional. If Mam ask them for anything they will do it for her. They make sure her medication is done every day they always have a laugh with her, which is good because she is housebound and it cheers her up. Her personal hygiene is always taken care of the girls just give 100%.
I first contacted Bluebird after damaging my foot, which led to difficulties with showering, cooking and cleaning. My care assistant helped a lot during this period. Once my foot had healed we maintained a great working relationship, helping with all tasks in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Bluebird to other would-be clients.
Bluebird provided home support in the morning for our mother caring for father who has dementia and cancer. The Management Team are friendly, flexible and professional and were an enormous and essential support to us in the difficult circumstances we found ourselves. Father is no longer at home but I would not hesitate to recommend them or employ them again if needed.
We have no problem with Bluebird, the care we have is brilliant. The carers are very friendly, they know what they have to do. They take real care of my partner. I have no worries at all. They are brilliant carers.
The team worked with me to help set up my broadband, sort out phone bills and combat any admin that has been building up. The ongoing and accessible contact is really helpful and open, being able to message and contact whenever I need or want to discuss anything that I may be experiencing or need to sort. They're really considerate and understanding which means it's easier to co-ordinate. They coordinate the clients based on what will best suit everyone and tailor to who and how people are. Assisting me in a positive direction with things that I need help with whilst respecting and understanding my level of independence. Understanding where there needs to be assistance and prompting. My support worker has been very involved and has been attending meetings around my care, being involved and centric in seeing how best to deliver my care, focusing on goals and helping you meet them. Recognising what the issues are and resolving them where possible.
This is my dad's first experience of having home care and he is very happy with the care staff and their level of training to support him in a respectful way whilst maintaining dignity and being well-informed about unique individual plans, reporting procedures and boundaries surrounding client/carer roles.
