View Full Details of Acadia Support ServicesCouldn't recommend this company enough. After my grandad received care from the company it has helped me massively with juggling full-time work and looking after my grandad as well. Acadia stepped in to release some of the pressures. I can't thank them enough for the support and the care they provide. Thanks to all the friendly staff at Acadia.
Recently contacted the manager to see if she could help our family with care for my mum after coming out of the hospital; I must say from that first call the service was absolutely outstanding. From setting up a meeting with my mum, to the detail in the report; to the care when actually there and to the flexibility offered. Whilst I am sure is very busy, nothing seemed too much trouble. Highly recommend this company and the care over all others. Wish we had found them sooner. Thanks again; in such a short time you have become part of the extended family.
Acadia carry out the agreed services in a friendly and professional manner. There may be teething issues when new members of the team are introduced but these are quickly addressed and resolved. Staff are always polite and friendly to both the client and other family members and carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
My partner has been very happy with the care provided by his substitute carer whilst his usual carer has been on holiday. He is also very happy with his usual care, but was bowled over by the enthusiasm, time, care and attention to his job that the substitute carer took during his visits. He was overflowing with compliments about his present carer, in particular the pride he took in his role and the level of effort he made to make my partner's home as lovely as possible for him. My partner has early onset Alzheimer's disease and always took great pride in his home prior to his illness. His home was his castle. Sadly he is unable to keep his focus to maintain his home as well he once did, so the level of support and care from his present carer has been very well received indeed. Thank you.
Care for my mother-in-law is great, we have adjusted the carer timing around her dialysis with meetings with the care manager's personal visits on regular occasions. Her regular carer always rings to advise if she needs any provisions and medication. We feel she is safe with the carers.
