The carers are very kind and polite. They follow all instructions given.
They show respect to mum. They always make sure she is clean and happy.
If there is something to report they leave a note and vice versa and it
is resolved quickly. If there was an app for me to download, then I feel
I would know more. For example what she has eaten.

My mother is 78 years old and suffers from chronic COPD, mild dementia
and is also completely bed ridden after suffering 3 strokes. Our
experience with A&R was horrendous. Mum was given out of date food
multiple times. She was also given reheated microwave food that had also
been left out all day despite multiple complaints to the manager by
myself her son. After confronting her carers regarding the food they
showed no knowledge of food hygiene safety practices. Mum was also left
in dangerous positions in her bed despite the manager being given the
correct procedures to follow due to choking concerns by the frailty
nurse. Mum was also given the wrong inhaler on numerous occasions and
failing to flag the wrong inhaler had been supplied was also an issue,
she was also given the wrong dose of medication and sometimes not at
all. Mum's fingernails and toenails were in a terrible state. Ultimately
I had to make a safeguarding complaint which resulted in A&R being removed.
