View Full Details of Visiting Angels Coventry, Kenilworth & Warwickshire EastI live at home with my mum who is 101 years old. She is nervous about being left on her own which made it difficult for me to be able to have a break from being a full time carer and go out and still see old friends and have some "me time", which every full time live in carer needs. I had heard about 'companionship' and sit-in befriending services. We chose Visiting Angels because of the wonderful reviews from clients/relatives. From our first phone call to the office they were so helpful and understanding of both my mums needs and mine. Two ladies made a home visit to introduce themselves and meet my mum to learn about her as a person and her personality and interests. This enabled them to choose the most compatible of their 'Angels' to sit with Mum. The two Angels we have had so far are a perfect match, extremely caring and kind. I can now go out and enjoy hobbies, meet friends and relax knowing mum is in good hands. Would definitely recommend Visiting Angels.
From the moment I made initial contact this company has provided an exemplary service in every way. The initial meeting. The service visits. The staff visiting my father. Are all without question fantastic in every way. I would highly recommend this company to anyone seeking assistance of any kind.
Cannot recommend Visiting Angels enough. Person-centered, compassionate, supportive, warm-hearted and understanding. Having had the pleasure of knowing the manager for a number of years, I can openly and honestly say she is an inspiration as a leader and a human. I have every confidence and trust in her to ensure nothing but excellence for her staff, and the people her staff care for. A quote from my mother, after just one visit from the carer: "She really is an angel that has been sent to me, I'm so happy." For myself, it is a huge relief and comfort to know that my mum is in the hands of Visiting Angels. From the moment we made contact to their first visit has been nothing short of excellence. Allowing the time and space for my mum to express her concerns and how much of a big step this was for her, to admit she needed help. To the first visit where she is beaming with happiness at having a good old natter and a trip to her favourite shop. Thank you just isn't enough.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Visiting Angels. My mum has dementia, and this is our second experience with a care agency, I only regret we didn't find Visiting Angels earlier. The manager and the team have been diligent, supportive, proactive and patient. I don't live with my mum, so getting speedy reports on how mum is doing is absolutely vital. I know that Mum enjoys her sessions with the carer and we have peace of mind knowing that she's well looked after. Thank you to the carer, the manager and the team!
I have been very impressed by the level of support been given. I have been assisted (cooking, cleaning shopping and more)at a time when things have been very difficult, with my mother being in a care home for Dementia since the middle of December. I have Myotonic Dystrophy and my mobility is severely curtailed and having a care visitor 4 days a week makes life more bearable. Of my experience, I would recommend Visiting Angels to anybody wanting some care support.
