View Full Details of Kayden CareMy experience actually dates back to November 2024 but it was only after the winter break that I took over responsibility for negotiating the nature, amount and organisation of the service provided. I have been really impressed by the flexibility and creativity of those who have supported me. The aim has always been to work towards my independence and more recently the amount and nature of support has changed and reduced but I have continued to feel the genuine concern for my welfare and progress. I have already mentioned the company to friends and I would have no hesitation in recommending the service more widely if asked.
The manager has been extremely supportive with my son's care. The main carer provided by the agency has been fantastic. The company always provides cover when the carer is off or on leave. They value my son's dignity and independence which is wonderful to see. Nothing is ever too much for them.
We started using Kayden Care around a month ago to get support for my mother who was recently hospitalised with depression and anxiety, causing uncontrolled movements and frailty. We have been delighted with the care my mother has received, which has been tailored and sensitive. Our goal for care support was to get her eating well, getting out, and generally becoming more independent. My mum really likes everyone she has met, and really appreciates the support. We have been impressed with the responsiveness, empathy, and flexible approach to care. It feels like we are getting precisely what my mother needs and the level/detail of communication has been fantastic. I feel really fortunate that we found Kayden Care.
As a family with our elderly mum suffering from dementia and living on her own, we have existing care in place for her morning and lunchtime routines, however with mum's decreasing mobility and advancing dementia we required additional support and peace of mind with evening care. Following a chat and assessment on the phone and at mum's home, this enabled us as a family to make informed decisions about the care that would work for mum. The team have made a great start getting to know mum and have been extremely helpful aiding her evening meal as well as getting her ready for bed and making sure she is comfortable and safe. Although we have only just started using Care At My Home team, the care givers are all kind and supportive of mum and are responsive to her needs which has already made a huge difference to her evening routine as well as valuable peace of mind for the family. The app means we can keep in touch on a daily basis and answer any questions immediately.
The manager and team have been looking after my mum and dad for 6 months. My dad has quite advanced Parkinson's disease and my mum has been struggling with a broken hip. They have been great - always on time, go over and above and available last minute for emergencies - thank you.
I visited my friend at least once a week and therefore I am in a position to have observed the care given by her carers first hand. The support from her carers was excellent and always delivered with a smile. The carers were responsive to their client's change in moods, was attentive to all her needs, nothing seemed too difficult to manage. Every aspect of my friend's care was met including administration of medication and serving meals, snacks and drinks and getting her ready for bed in a timely way. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly around my friend. The carers were able to persuade her to participate in activities such as playing cards even when my friend felt less inclined to do so. They never pushed an issue, just got round my friend, which demonstrated certain important skills needed to do the job well. I was very impressed overall and would have no hesitation in recommending the care agency to my friends and family, which I have done on several instances.
What a breath of fresh air! When my mother needed help I was worried for her as like so many others I had heard too many bad stories, carers only being at the property for 15 minutes, no real care taken, and no engagement with the patient. Care at my home breaks that myth. My mother started off last year with 3 1 hour visits a week to help her with her medication and a little company now it is up to 1 1/2 hours a day Monday to Friday where they also help mum with her lunch. The staff are absolutely fabulous they care, nothing is too much trouble, they are friendly, they engage with my mum, they are patient and all round good people. The management of this company is truly professional and I get updates on a regular basis with 1 to 1 meetings and regular reviews as to the amount of care given versus the care needed. As a manager myself, I can see that the company has a strong caring ethos which can only be passed down from the directors. Finally, the app is great it keeps me up to date.
