I am impressed by how the caring adds a fresh stimulation to my wife's day. After showering and dressing the carer usually sits in the lounge with my wife while she does her report, and they enter into a lively conversation about family and what is going on in the world. This brightening effect on my
wife at this time of the morning (after 11am) is the reason I suggest that 11.30am is the best time for her to have a friend call round. With my wife in good hands for the 45 minutes duration of each visit I have been enabled to use my mobility scooter for occasional necessary short shopping trips.

As a client, this is my first experience of this sort of personal care. Each morning the Hales carer takes me through a lovely routine of getting clean and dressed. The carer is always gentle in manipulating my creaking body. I am pleased to be treated as an equal and a natural relationship has developed.
I'm encouraged to keep on with the business of living.
