We're really pleased that you feel very happy with the care and support your Mum receives from us but are sorry that we still don't have capacity to accommodate her morning visit at an earlier time. Visit times were agreed through social services at the time your Mum's care package commenced and we are really sorry that we still don't have an earlier slot available. Please do feel welcome to stay in touch with our office team, who will be more than happy to adjust this visit to an earlier time should we have availability to be able to do this in the future. We are so pleased to hear that you find our care workers go above and beyond requirements and it's great to hear how you feel they treat your Father. Please rest assured we have a dedicated recruitment team who are working hard to support staffing but from time to time (particularly throughout and following the pandemic), staff can be off work due to sickness (and are still self-isolating when required), however, during these times we do our best to ensure all of our service users still receive the service they so truly deserve. We apologise if at times we have had to make suitable alternative arrangements to ensure your Father continues to receive the standard of care we would expect, please do contact your local office (on your usual number) if ever there's anything you'd like to discuss. We are glad you are fairly satisfied with the service provided but we have been in touch to discuss the comments you make further. From time to time, we do have to send a different care worker due to sickness which may result in them getting to the service user a little later than usual rather than at the preferred time. We do everything we can to keep people informed if this is the case, (this can also be if care workers are delayed at a previous call due to an emergency) but we will always get someone there as soon as we can in these circumstances. We also ensure all service users have up to date person centred care plans in their care files to ensure any new or different care workers have full information to hand to help them familiarise themselves with our service users needs, as quickly as possible and to help them deliver the best possible care they can. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with your local office on the usual telephone number should you have any future queries, we will be more than happy to try and help.
